Step 1

Before the service.

Step 2

The crown area is sectioned off and placed in a ponytail. The front and back left are sectioned.

Step 3

Take a one inch thick horizontal section from the front hairline.

Step 4

Weave the section. Hold the woven out hair securely and allow the remaining hair to fall.

Weave the section. Hold the woven out hair securely and allow the remaining hair to fall.

Step 6

Continue with steps 3–5 until the side is complete. The hair will have a chequered appearance.

Step 7

Back brush the front section of the hair to create height and volume.

Step 8

Barrel curl the ponytail and grip into place to hide the grips from the woven area.

Step 9

Sweep the ‘tails’ of the weave around and grip them under the barrel curls. Then, twist the bottom section over to the opposite side.

Step 10

Dress the front and sides to sweep back.

Tong the bottom and left-hand section to fall over the shoulder.
