March Sales Tax Revenue up 5.91%General Fund sales tax is up 5.91% (412,326) from revenues report-ed for the same time period last year. Year-to-date General Fund sales tax is up 8.24% ($84,801). This is the twelfth consecutive month of increased sales tax revenues as compared to the prior year, and is the highest March sales tax allocation ever received.

The Walgreen’s store at the corner of ColleyvilleBlvd. and Brown Trail suffered a water line break and has been closed since January 19 for repairs and renovation. The store re-opened on April 3 with a new layout and updated fixtures through-out.

The store will host a grand re-opening celebrationon Friday, April 10, from 10 AM - 2 PM with giveaways from vendors and city officials present.

The Attic Resale Boutique first opened for business in May 2010. Mother/Daughter team Della Greener and Sumer Morgan relocated the shop to Colleyville this spring, and celebrated their grand reopening on March 10.

The new store has 2400 square feet of beautiful furnishings with a clean and friendly atmosphere, and offers customers a free coffee bar with chocolate and cookies.

The Boutique sells women’s clothing, shoes, jewelry, accessories, home decor, furniture and antique pieces. The Attic also offers consignment services for furniture and antiques by appointment.
