provided residents with information about their rights, community services available to them, laws (Medicare & Medicaid), regulations and standards that govern long-term care facilities, and good health and safety practice.

Interviewed witness (facility employees, volunteers, families, etc.) Planned and conducted initial investigation to make recommendations and reports to the state of Michigan. When the complaint was not resolved, referred the complaint, together with all documentation, to the Regional
