“Osh Kosh b’Gosh”TMDRCW was called to order by a calm El Presidente Antonio. In a rare display of power, he implored us to “ be brief or else” at the podium, not indicating at all, exactly what would be the nature of the punishment! Anyway, ROD Sheila Henry led us in a moment, and in the pledge. Sheila inspired us toward unity, and talked if her love of helping people. She can help with weight loss, PTST, rape victims, and counsels working moms’ challenges. But what can you do for this reporter’s Ice Cream Addiction Syndrome, Sheila? We are so lucky to have Sheila as our fellow-Rotarian!Classy Charley announced our guests, including Linda Andrews’ Janine Pack, a new member! Welcome Janine! Marty brought us his beloved Sharon; Bonnie and Krishna breakfasted with Sadie and Stella, this Reporter’s personal favorite kids! The High Five and Birthday Brigade listed Linda A.; celebrant Kevin Carlson, who apparently is doing his make-up in Bora-Bora! Brett yelped in pain when it was noted by Fine Master Wil that Charley looks today like Brett did “ten years ago”!Irwin happily announced 51 years of married bliss; Bill will be photographing new granddaughter Sadie for a long

time! Sandy announced she was now happily “renovated”. Ina and Barbro very modestly announced the raising of funds for Syrian refugees, and for the diplomatic corps; this reporter wants to know more about these fresh worthy projects! Apparently, Cynthia and Tony are dating each other, since they announced such to the world, by both wearing their “Steady Shirts” to the meeting!Marty also announced two projects: WAPI 2/26, and the Preuss Mentoring program. Cynthia talked up the Peace Forum, 2/25 at USD; and Linda requested children’s books be donated for the Children’s Literacy Project. Alex made the clarion cry for members to press on with their sponsor requests, so we can meet our worthy goals! Brett recognized for Frank, the Ronald McDonald effort, including about 95 meals served, and a certain family which gathered massive canned goods from Torrey Hills Elementary !!Lori and Her Gang of Road Rally Hooligans, regaled us with results and glee: Stouffer and Steve won again; and here come $1000 from Steve for the club, and an interesting Immunity Necklace for Linda! Jacquie and Linda garnered the coveted Dipstick Award, apparently because they spent entirely too much time hanging

around a famous cemetery; and the devilish loser, Rick Binder, will plan the Road Rally next year! Wow!Stouffer the Winner talked about the El Camino approaching, sponsorship possibilities, and introduced the club’s participants. Kelly the Dynamic talked of The Meeting That Never Was, and announced the next Rotarians Fighting Cancer Roundup!Bill introduced the Lady from OshKosh, enthusiastic speaker, Ellen Citrano. Ellen is a retired Navy Nurse, and informed us of Freedom Station Warrior Foundation. This Foundation has purchased 22 area properties being fixed up for veterans. She spoke of the courage and integrity of these veterans, and the rewards of helping! Thank you Ellen!Rick and Jim, in a wild “ NR” presentation, talked of the Camp Pendleton Project, 3/18, and 4/1, the content of which, broke up each other and “the house”! This “fill-in” Reporter anxiously awaits his bundt cake reward, as promised in writing, by our Club Reporter Chairperson, you-know -who!

Ellen Bryson is a native Californian and has

lived in San Diego 40 years. She is a graduate of the Uni-versity of San Diego. Ellen feels blessed she has been able to explore all of her career passions. Her first career, as a registered nurse, led to a very exciting time with her own healthcare public relations and market-ing firm. During that time she became a licensee for Rotary International creat-ing sportswear apparel for women. Her company grew to be one of the top U.S. Ro-tary licensees. She then sold her company to All Ameri-

can in Chicago – the birth-place of Rotary!

This journey led to the per-fect career for her – Real Es-tate. Her marketing, public relations and sales experi-ence helped her to be con-sistently in the top 50 Re-altors for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in the San Diego/Temecula Valley.

Community Service is a very important part of El-len’s life. She was the 3rd woman to join the LJG-TRC. She co-chaired the 3rd Cheers for Charity with Stu Brown, Chaired Commu-

nity Service for 5 years and has served on the Board. In 2003, the Salvation Army honored her as a “Woman of Dedication” for the vol-unteer time she has given to San Diego charities over the past 35 years. She has served as President and is currently on the Boards of The Salva-tion Army, Sea Point Town-homes and Patrons of the Prado for Balboa Park.

Ellen and her husband T.K. Bryson, a retired Anesthe-siologist, have three adult children and two beautiful grandchildren.
