Money Saving RebatesLADWP Rebates The LA Department of Water and Power offers a variety of water and energy efficiency rebates to help customers save energy, water, and money! Funds are available on a first-come, first-served basis and limited to one rebate application per product category, per address. Energy saving rebates include: Energy Star® refrigerator, variable speed & variable flow pool pumps, Energy Star® room air conditioner, HVAC system, whole house fan, Energy Star® windows, cool roof installation, and pool pump replacement. Refrigerator Exchange ProgramOlder model refrigerators are replaced with new, energy-saving, Energy Star® rated refrigerators, FREE of charge. Refrigerator must be 10 years old or older, at least 14 cubic feet, and in working condition. Owner must meet income eligibility requirements, live in a Multi-Residential or Mobile Home Community, or be a non-profit organization (Educational Institution, Civic, Community, or Faith-Based Organization) ladwp.com/lirep

REfrigerator Turn-In and REcycle (RETIRE) ProgramHave your old refrigerator or freezerpicked-up and recycled at no cost to you, PLUS receive a $50 rebate! Old refrigerator/freezer must be in working condition, be between 10 and 27 cubic feet, and be plugged in for 24 hours prior to pick-up. ladwp.com/retire

SoCal Gas Rebates Southern California Gas Company offers rebates for Energy Star® certified appliances and energy-efficient natural gas products such as water heaters, furnaces, washing machines and insulation. Energy Upgrade California® Home UpgradeChoose from a variety of upgrades, pick a participating contractor to install them, and receive a rebate after the work is complete! This program is offered in the City of LA through a joint program of LADWP and SoCal Gas.

PACE FinancingThe LA County Residential Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) Program is a financing program that enables homeowners toinstall renewable energy (such as solar panels), energy efficiency,and water-saving improvements to their properties withoutputting any money down! Under PACE, homeowners may work with one of two County-approved program administrators, CaliforniaFirst or HERO, to finance these home improvements.

PACE financing is an innovative financing option in that the secured loan is attached to the property and is repaid through its property tax bill. As a result, it may be transferred to the new owner upon sale of the property. lapace.org

FREE Trees from City PlantsCity of Los Angeles residents can get 7 free shade trees delivered to their doors. Businesses can request shade trees too and may be eligible to receive even larger quantities. City Plants also holds tree giveaway events around the City where residents can learn about and pick up a free shade or fruit tree. If you agree to water parkway trees in front of your home or business, City Plants will do the planting work for you at no charge!

Trees help with energy demands:Shaded buildings use less electricity for cooling and trees remove CO2 from the atmosphere that was produced when generating electricity
