Private Cloud, Management and Virtualization Deployment Planning Services (PVDPS)
Provide Microsoft-sponsored structured consulting engagements to Software Assurance (SA) customers in order to create custom deployment plans.
Upgrading to Windows Server 2008 R2
Accelerating Virtualization and Management Deployment
Accelerating Private Cloud Deployment
Demonstrate the advantage of the new Virtualization technology in Windows Server 2008 R2, enabling your customers to deliver more advanced capabilities to their business. This engagement provides an analysis and migration plan to Windows Server 2008 R2.
Show your customers how to streamline their IT infrastructure by consolidating multiple under-utilized physical servers onto a single host, integrating management of both physical and virtual systems.
Demonstrate how the Private Cloud can make sense for a customers organization. The Microsoft Private Cloud is the natural next step after Virtualization, and it will help customers transform their business by enabling self-service, elasticity and high levels of automation.
PVDPS BenefitsExpand Your Business
Get in front of new customers — including Microsoft’s eligible customer base. PVDPS helps expand your expertise and develops the trust and credibility that will open the door to additional work.
Deliver more value to your customers — PVDPS providers help make the decision to deploy easier for customers by providing a risk-free assessment and plan based on leading Microsoft practices.
Utilize comprehensive pre-built engagement materials from Microsoft and offset the cost of business development. As a provider, you’ll receive compensation for delivering PVDPS engagements.
Help customers understand how System Center, Windows Server and Hyper-V solutions can transform their business.
Your company must be enrolled in the Microsoft Partner Network (MPN).
The individual providing the consulting engagement must have a Windows Live ID that is associated to the Partner Location MPN ID as registered for Private Cloud, Management and Virtualization DPS.
Your company must attain a gold competency in one of the following: Virtualization, Systems Management, Server Platform, and/or Identity and Security. Learn more.
