STEP1, 2

Please Follow the Steps Below

1) Go to https://www.upwork.com/ and click on SIGN UP

2) Click on Hire button.

3) Click on ‘Sign Up With Email’

4) With ‘Company Sign Up’ selected, from the provided information, �ll in First Name,Last Name, Company Name, Country, Email and Password. Check the box for theacknowledgement and click Get Started.

5) A verification email will be sent to the Gmail account and you'll need to access the Gmail account provided to click the verification link in order to access all features. Upwork account setup is now completed. Now click ‘Post Job’

6) On the post a job page, select the provided category and sub-category from the pull down menu under ‘Choose a category and subcategory’. If you weren’t provided with a category then read the job description provided and select something that best represents what you are posting the job for as it’ll help target people with the relevant skills

Note: The parameters vary for various categories and sub-categories. In the next section, using the information provided, input the Job Name under ‘Name your job posting’ and Job Description under ‘Describe the work to be done’. If you are provided with files to

attach, click ‘Attach File’ and upload the �les.

Attaching a �le is a GREAT way to provide an example of exactly what you are looking for!

7) Underneath Job Type, select the appropriate radio button for ‘Are you posting for aproject, or for ongoing work?’and ‘How many freelancers do you need to hire

this job?’ Lastly type the speci�c skills needed for the jobunder ‘Enter skills needed(optional)’.

The more speci�c you are on the skills required for the job the less time you willspend sifting through the job applicants!

8) In the next section, use the information provided above for Payment mode and select appropriate payment option under ‘How would you like to pay?’ Do the same for experience level under ‘Desired Experience Level’. If you have selected ‘Pay a fixed Price’ you will need to fill in your budget (flat rate price that you are willing to pay) for the job.

9) From the information provided, select the Job Period under ‘How long do youexpect this job to last’ and Job Hours under ‘What time commitment is required forthis job’.

10) Click ‘Freelancer Preferences’ to open pull down menu. Use the provided information and select the appropriate radio button under ‘Do you want freelancers to find and apply to your job?’. If you were provided with the freelancer’s name above then click on the last radio button and search for them when assigning the job.

11) Under Preferred Quali�cations click ‘Add Quali�cations’.

12) From the provided information, select the appropriate quali�cations. If you haven’tbeen provided with any quali�cations then you can skip this step.

13) From the provided information, add the �rst screening question and if you areprovided with more questions, click on ‘Add Another Question’.

Note: Screening questions are important as it will help you quickly weed out thoseapplicants that aren’t suited for your task

14) From the information above, as appropriate click on ‘Select from suggested orrecent’ or ‘Create my own question’ and select/add the additional questions. If noinformation was provided, skip this step.


STEP15, 16

15) If a cover letter is required from an applicant, Click the box as noted below. In the event that no screening questions are entered the cover letter is selected by default

16) Click ‘Post Job’ button.
