•Graduated Cylinders are used to accurately measure liquids •The Graduated Cylinder on the left has 3 parts. The actual cylinder- which holds the liquid, the base- which helps the cylinder stay standing , the ring- which helps you read the correct volume.

•The Ring Stand and Rings go together. There are different size rings which are used to hold different containers. •You use the ring stand and rings to hold containers while heater the materials in the containers. •The ring stand may be used for other experiments and not just heating materials
