User Generated Interactive Content™
A PARADIGM SHIFT FOR CHOICES, PATHWAYS AND OUTCOMES:
UGIC is a step-change because it empowers users to separate the codification, interaction and
measurement of knowledge, where choices, pathways and outcomes materially matter. The contextual
feedback, combined with new types of measurements and behavioural visualisation, drives learning
evolution and scalability. Df2020 has developed Minimum Viable Products (MVP) using a combination
of Mobile Apps and Cloud. We now seek early adopters to influence our product direction, in a world,
where the increasing complexity of choices, pathways and outcomes grow at a relentless pace.

There is a noticeable market shift towards
conversations between humans and artificial agents
such as Apple’s Siri, Google’s Now, Microsoft’s
Cortana and Amazon’s Echo.
UGIC is designed to cope with increasing
permutations of choices, pathways and outcomes,
whilst, at the same time, masking this complexity
from the person. This enables deeper and more
accurate interactions with people at scale, in context
to their requirements.
UGIC is another form of conversation between
humans and artificial dialogue, where choices,
pathways and outcomes are scripted by people with
knowledge. This can be applied for human
interactions from outside to inside an organisation,
from customer engagement to critical procedures.
As knowledge is an infinite resource, the best UGIC
starting point is where there is a compelling situation
impacting markets, revenue, costs or risks.

The need for deeper and more accurate interactions
with people at scale, is highly relevant when their
decision choices could lead to distortions or
deceptions resulting with:
Lost Opportunities
Misunderstandings
False Positives
False Negatives
Over Optimism
Misalignment
Wrong decisions are often caused by poorly
designed user decision journeys. This is particularly
relevant when the user does not have sufficient
knowledge to make a decision or the outcome is
materially important.
Critical user decision journeys are needed for :
Decision Accuracy
Self-Service & Self-Sufficiency
Audit & Measurement

UGIC sets a new benchmark for scalable learning to
improve productivity and performance. UGIC
enrichment creates shorter cycles of evidence-based
improvements for accelerated advancements.
Which brings ROI benefits such as:
Market: consistency across touchpoints
Revenue: smarter customer engagement
Costs: lower coordination overheads
Risks: reduced erroneous decisions
UGIC provides better alignment between strategic
change and the ability to drive a fast and agile culture,
by empowering people inside and outside an
organisation with the practical knowledge, as required.
Which brings further benefits such as better:
Empowerment and control
Knowledge retention and distribution
Decision journeys embedded in forms and processes
Workforce productivity, agility and responsiveness

HISTORY
Df2020 was incorporated on the 11th February, 2014
by the co-founders John Rawlings and Freddie
McMahon. Df2020 has developed MVP (Minimum
Viable Products) using a combination of Apple Mobile
Apps and Amazon Cloud.
Though an early stage start-up, we are underpinned
by long-term research traceable back to 2000. This
has included prototyping the solution using client /
server technology and developing case studies.
Feedback from early trials defined the need for mobile
apps for supporting growing individual and workforce
mobility.
UGIC has been developed as a natural successor to User
Generated Content that emerged during 2001, which led
to the social networking phenomena.

UGIC CODIFICATION
Our Df2020 Author App combines symbolic logic and
narrative to publish a new media type called a
Df-Map.
We have multiple levels within the App based on the
author’s expertise:
Level 1
2/ 3 CHOICES CONTENT OUTCOME LINK
Level 2
GO FROM GO TO
Level 3
4/5 CHOICES
The Df2020 Author App helps an author improve their thinking
whilst developing a Df-Map as it encourages:
Logic completeness: enforcing the joining of dots
Logic clarity: stops pathway crossovers
Outcome focus: ensures each pathway reaches an outcome
Modulisation: restricts the size of the mapping landscape
Reuse: supports the cloning of a pathway step
Understandability: provides inbuilt interactive testing tool
Rapid improvements: easy to adapt as knowledge evolves
Once the Df-Map has been developed and published,
the author invites recipients, which is routed via the
Df2020 Cloud. Updates are automatically distributed
once republished.
Within the App it has two
roles: author and copyright
owner.

UGIC INTERACTION
The Df2020 Viewer App is a form of conversation
between humans and artificial dialogue, where
choices, pathways and outcomes have been scripted
by people with knowledge using Df2020 Author.
The interactive experience enables options and content, such
as instructions, to be presented along the pathway chosen by
the user. At each step, the narrative can orchestrate links to
other content, such as videos or pictures, to complement the
user understanding.
The user journey can seamlessly
travel across different Df-Maps,
masking the complexity of the
knowledge landscape.
The user decision journey data is
automatically captured and can
be printed or sent electronically.
Contextual feedback can be
provided and sent to the author
or copyright owner.

UGIC MEASUREMENTS
As the user decision journey data is automatically
captured this can be analysed thus:-
1. Audit data of user journey 2. Follow user journey pathway
4. Outcomes analytics 3. Time taken for each step
The aggregated user journeys provide patterns
that can generate insights ranging from
behavioural analysis to emergent unmet demand.

UGIC: SIMPLY START TODAY
The Df2020 Author and Df2020 Viewer apps are
immediately available for the Apple iPhone and iPad.
These apps are free and there are in-app purchases
within Df2020 Author for Levels 2 and 3.
The Df-Maps published can be shared via the Df2020
Author app or once received by the Df2020 Viewer.
UGIC MONETISATION MODEL
UGIC monetisation is based on offering the Df-Map API
as a secure cloud-based utility service.
Our approach gives the freedom to organisations for
engaging in scripted conversations from inside forms,
processes, products and services for fast and better
informed decisions.
Furthermore, the data from user decision journeys will
strengthen the ability to sense earlier and respond
quicker to emergent situations, whilst taking business
intelligence to a new level.
Once republished, the Df-Map is automatically
distributed to the Df2020 Viewers, thus collapsing the
costs of distribution and version control assurance.
This enables the rapid
acceleration of value at
any digital touch-point for
conversations between
humans and artificial
dialogue.
