User Guide for Model AWPC-01 FEATURES GUIDE This Advance Water Pump Controller (Model AWPC-01) work as a life guard for your Motor, it saves your electricity and also save water. This device also supports other features which protect your motor and make motor’s life so long e.g. High Voltage/ Low Voltage/ Dry Run / No Water supply. Please read feature and installation guide to know about the advantages of this device. Advance and Manual modes supported by the device: 1) AUTOMATIC Mode - When device is on Automatic mode, then - Motor will be turned ON automatically, if water level of the tank is detected low by Lower level sensor in water tank. Motor will be turned OFF automatically, if water level of the tank is detected high (Tank Full) by Upper level sensor in water tank. Motor will be turned OFF automatically, if water is not observed in water tank pipeline( DRY RUN protection feature). This device check water availability in water tank pipeline for few minutes, and turn on DRY RUN indicator if no water in water pipe line is observed within the timeframe. As DRY RUN indicator is ON and Motor is OFF, hence after some time device will turn ON the Motor to check the availability of water again in water tank pipeline and If again water is not observed in water tank pipe line, then device will be completely shut down and will start beeping to let user know. If device is in this state then user has to reset the device by switching it OFF and switching it ON again manually. Motor will be turned OFF automatically, if supply of the voltage is observed HIGHER than 290V (HIGH-VOLTAGE protection feature). Motor will be turned OFF automatically if supply of the voltage in device is LOWER than 120V (LOW VOLTAGE protection feature). Motor will be turned OFF automatically, if overload on motor above 15Amp is observed (OVERLOAD protection feature). If OVERLOAD indicator is ON, then please check your motor and press OVERLOAD RESET button to restart the device if motor is in working state. NO SUMP/SUP WATER indicator will be turned ON, if water is not available in water SUMP/Supply water pipe line and in water tank water level is down from Lower sensor. 2) MANUAL Mode- When device is on Manual mode, then device won’t be supporting any protection feature (Overload, Dry Run, High/Low Voltage, Motor ON/OFF). In this mode, Motor will always be turned ON. This feature is useful, if user want to use fresh water from Supply water OR Submersible water instead of water tank water. TANISH We Serve You Better

FEATURES GUIDE This Advance Water Pump Controller (Model AWPC-01) work as a life guard for your Motor, it saves your electricity and also save water. This device also supports other features which protect your motor and make motor’s life so long e.g. High Voltage/ Low Voltage/ Dry Run / No Water supply. Please read feature and installation guide to know about the advantages of this device. Advance and Manual modes supported by the device: 1) AUTOMATIC Mode - When device is on Automatic mode, then - • Motor will be turned ON automatically, if water level of the tank is detected low by Lower level sensor in water tank. • Motor will be turned OFF automatically, if water level of the tank is detected high (Tank Full) by Upper level sensor in water tank. • Motor will be turned OFF automatically, if water is not observed in water tank pipeline( DRY RUN protection feature). This device check water availability in water

tank pipeline for few minutes, and turn on DRY RUN indicator if no water in water pipe line is observed within the timeframe.

• Motor will be turned OFF automatically, if supply of the voltage is observed HIGHER than 290V (HIGH-VOLTAGE protection feature). • Motor will be turned OFF automatically if supply of the voltage in device is LOWER than 120V (LOW VOLTAGE protection feature). • Motor will be turned OFF automatically, if overload on motor above 15Amp is observed (OVERLOAD protection feature). If OVERLOAD indicator is ON, then

please check your motor and press OVERLOAD RESET button to restart the device if motor is in working state. • NO SUMP/SUP WATER indicator will be turned ON, if water is not available in water SUMP/Supply water pipe line and in water tank water level is down from

Lower sensor.

3) INDICATORS - 1) NORMAL Mode Indicators - • MOTOR ON: Motor is running. • TANK FULL: Water Tank is FULL and motor is off. • NO SUMP/SUPPLY WATER: Water is not available in SUMP/SUPPLY water pipe line.

2) PROTECTION Mode Indicators - • DRY RUN: Motor is turned OFF as water is not observed by Dry run sensor in water tank pipe line. If water is available after some time in water tank pipe line, then

device will automatically turn OFF DRY RUN indicator and turn ON the Motor. This feature saves electricity by stopping Motor as water is not available in pipe line.

• HIGH-VOLT: Motor is turned OFF as High Voltage is detected by the device. If voltage becomes normal after some time, then High Voltage indicator will be turned OFF and Motor will be turned ON if water level is low.

• LOW-VOLT: Motor is turned OFF as Low Voltage is detected by the device. If voltage becomes normal after some time, then Low Voltage indicator will be turned OFF and Motor will be turned ON if water level is low.

OVERLOAD: Motor is turned OFF when device detects load on Motor >15A. In this state, please check the Motor and press OVERLOAD RESET button to restart the device.

INSTALLATION GUIDE

INSTALLATION Procedure - This Model AWPC-01 is suitable for (220V AC) Single Phase Water Pump OR Submersible up to 2HP. The installation of the device comprises of two parts, the Power Connection and the Sensors Connection: • Power Connection is the connection between the device and your Motor / Pump set. • Sensors Connection includes the connection of sensor wires from device to the water tank. After connections, set the level of sensors in the water tank.

INSTALLATION Steps -

• STEP 1 - Remove the bottom cap(panel) of the device and identify the sensor connectors on the bottom of the the device. • STEP 2 – Get Two sensor (Sump, Com) wires for “Sump / Supply Water Pipe Line” and Four sensors (Upper, Lower, Dry, Com) wires for water tank. • STEP 3 - Connect one end of Two Sensor wires to sensor connector on the device and other end of sensor wire to “Sump / Supply Water Pipe Line” (please see

installation diagram for reference). • STEP 4 - Connect one end of Four sensor wires to sensor connector and other end of sensor wire to Water Tank as per the sensor wires table mentioned below (please

see installation diagram for reference). • STEP 5. Color of Sensors wires –

Sensors Level Setting in Water Tank - • Set the level of Com sensor (Black wire) at the bottom of the Water Tank. • Set the level of Lower sensor (Green wire) at the Lower (Half) level of the Water Tank. • Set the level of Upper sensor (Red) at the Upper level of the Water Tank. • Set Com and Dry run sensor just before the connectivity of pipe line with water tank. • Set Com and Sump sensor in SUMP/SUPPLY water pipe line.

Please see installation diagram for better understanding of Sensors level settings.

Important: Sensor wires from the device to water tank, and from device to Sump / Supply water pipe line should be properly connected and must not be damaged as in these cases device will not operate correctly. Please double check the connectivity of wires to get accuracy in functionality of the device. For extra protection, Sensor wires can be protected with PVC pipe.
