Enter Master Inspection Characteristic, plant & hit enter

It is 8 digit alphanumeric code

Select type of characteristic depending on its tangibility

If you can measure the MIC in a unit, it is Quantitative [Exam

Select 'Inomplete Copy Model' if you want to enter tolerance limit during inspection plan

Select 'Complete Copy Model' if you want to enter tolerance limit now

Keep status 1 [Release] . If the MIC is not to be used in future

Enter the long text if applicable

Enter short description & search field [ideally it is same]

If you want the value of MIC between a range, mark all 3 check boxes

If you want any single value for MIC [say only Upper or Lower limit]

If you are opting for Sampling procedure select the required option e

Select the option whether you want the characteristic to be optional
