Introduction
AppJetty has simplified the on-page SEO optimization for your Magento store with the help of SEO Hub
which is helpful for store admins to quickly and easily arrange and apply Meta Data, Meta Description,
Meta Keywords, Description and many more things simultaneously for large number of products,
categories and blog post pages. Admin will also be able to manage redirection for the deleted products.
With SEO Hub admin will have options of Test Apply, Apply by Cron as well as Apply right away with
Apply option. SEO Hub will allow you to optimize the specific categories and product groups for specific
search terms on a template, which will significantly improve the performance of your store in search
engines as well by optimizing your online store according to the latest requirements of search engines.
With extra services provided with Biztech SEO Hub admin will be able to manage canonical URL for site
pages, admin will also be able to generate XML & HTML sitemaps and manage robot Meta with robot.txt
editor as well.

Installation& Activation
Installation Steps
Step 1: Check Permissions
Make sure the ‘‘app’’, ''skin'' and ''lib'' directories of your Magento and all directories inside it have full written permissions or set permissions on each directory equal to 777 or 0777.
Important! Change all permissions back after installation.

Step 2: Disable Compilation
Log into Magento Admin Panel and go to System → Tools → Compilation and disable the compilation.
After Step 5, you can run the compilation process again.
Step 3: Upload Files
Upload all folders from the extension package to the installation directory of your Magento software using an FTP client.
Step 4: Clear cache
Go to System → Cache Management. Clear the store cache.
Step 5: Re-login
Logout and log back into Magento Admin Panel.

Step 6: Use Extension
Go to System → Configuration. In the left column you will see the new tab called Biztech Extensions. You will find “SEO Hub” under Biztech extensions tab.

Extension Activation
Get activation key
Get the activation key from the Order Confirmation Mail. OR
Login to your AppJetty account then go to Downloadable options and copy the activation key for the Delivery Date Scheduler extension.
Activate your extensions
Log into Magento Admin Panel and go to System → Configuration → Biztech Extensions / SEO Hub and enter the activation key in the ''Activation Key'' field for the extension and then click the ‘Save Config’.
Select Websites
When you enter and save the key it will be verified on our server and you can select the websites where you need to use the SEO Hub extension. Click the ‘Save Config’ button after making your selections.
After successful license validation, you can select the website. Now, your SEO Hub is activated.

How it Works?
Back End Configuration
Please follow the below steps to enable SEO Hub.
General SEO Hub Configurations
Go to System -> Configuration In the left column you’ll find Biztech SEO Hub Extension. In this tab, you can set basic configurations of SEO Hub Extension. Here is the detailed description
of the configuration.
Enabled for Checkout: Select ‘Yes’ to add SEO Hub shipping at checkout page.
Enabled: Select ‘Yes’ to enable the SEO Hub extension. The extension is disabled by default.
Use Product SEO Name for Product Page: Select ‘Yes’ to replace current Product SEO Name with Template Product SEO Name.
Use Category SEO Name for Category Page: Select ‘Yes’ to replace current Category SEO Name with Template Category SEO Name.
Enable Debugger Mode: Select ‘Yes’ to Generate Log File while applying SEO templates.
Number of Items on Which Template will be Applied at a Time: Add number of products on which template will be applied at a single instance, when template is applied.
Crop Meta Title: Select ‘Yes’ to set maximum length of the Meta Title.
Maximum Length for Meta Title: Add number of characters after which Meta Tile will be cropped.
Crop Meta Description: Select ‘Yes’ to set maximum length of the Meta Description.
Maximum Length for Meta Description: Add number of characters after which
Meta Description will be cropped.

Link Redirection Manager Configurations
In this tab, admin will be able to set redirection for various kind of links. Here is the detailed description of the configuration.
Enable Redirection: Select ‘Yes’ to enable redirection for specific links.
Redirection Type: Admin will be able to choose type of URL for which redirection is done.
Possible options are:
301 Moved Permanently
302 Found
404 Not Found
Redirect To: Admin will be able to select page to which redirection will be done for selected redirection type. Possible options are:
Product Category
Home Page
Custom
Apply to Previous Redirections: Select ‘Yes’ to apply chosen redirection to all previous
redirections.

Time Period to Keep Redirects on the Website (in Days): Add time for which redirection will be kept on website.
Canonical URL Manager Configurations
In this tab, admin will be able to set Canonical URL for various Pages. Here is the detailed description of the configuration. Add Canonical URL Meta Header: Select ‘Yes’ to add Canonical to Meta Header. If ‘Yes’ is
selected than only canonical tag will be added to the page.
Canonical Tag for Associated Products: Select ‘Yes’ to add Canonical tag for associated products. If ‘Yes’ is selected than admin will be able to add Canonical Tag to following products:

For Grouped Products
Use '?limit=all' Parameter in Canonical URL: Select ‘Yes’ to add '?limit=all 'Parameter in
Canonical URL. The parameter "?limit=all” will be added to the canonical URL of category pages if “Allow All Products per Page” is enabled.
Use Product Canonical Tag for Reviews Pages: Select ‘Yes’ to Use Product Canonical Tag for Reviews Pages.
Product Canonical URL: Choose which path will be used for product canonical URL. Possible options are:

Cross Domain Canonical URL: Admin will be able to set canonical URL for cross domain URLs. Admin can choose Default URL or can choose from list of Store URLs.
HTML Sitemap Configurations
In this tab, admin will be able to set HTML Site Map Configurations for the website. Here is the detailed description of the configuration.
Products Sort Order: Choose on which attribute products will be sorted. Following
attributes can be selected:
Name
Position
Maximum category depth level: Admin will be able to add depth level for which the categories will be added in the sitemap.
Exclude "Out of Stock" Products: Select ‘Yes’ to exclude out of stock products from the Site Map.
Show CMS Pages: Select ‘Yes’ to add CMS Pages in the Site Map.
CMS Pages for the Sitemap: If CMS Pages are included in the Sitemap, choose which CMS Pages will be included in the Sitemap.

Show Additional Links: Select ‘Yes’ to show additional links in the Sitemap.
Additional Links for the Sitemap: If additional links are included in the Sitemap, add additional links which will be included in the Sitemap.
Meta Title: Add Meta Title for the Sitemap.
Meta Description: Add Meta Description for the Sitemap.
Meta Keywords: Add Meta Keywords for the Sitemap.
XML Sitemap Configurations
In this tab, admin will be able to set XML Site Map Configurations for the website. Here is the detailed description of the configuration.
Generate Sitemap By Cron: Select ‘Yes’ to generate Sitemap via Cron Job.
Cron Frequency: If Sitemap is generated by Cron, set the frequency by which Cron will be
generated.
Category Frequency: Select frequency with which categories will be updated in the Sitemap.
Category Priority: Set Priority for updating Categories in the Sitemap.
Product Frequency: Select frequency with which products will be updated in the Sitemap.
Product Priority: Set Priority for updating products in the Sitemap.
Exclude Out of Stock Products: Select ‘Yes’ to exclude out of stock products from the Site Map.
CMS Page Frequency: Select frequency with which CMS Pages will be updated in the Sitemap.
CMS Page Priority: Set Priority for updating CMS Pages in the Sitemap.
Include Additional Links: Select ‘Yes’ to show additional links in the Sitemap.
Additional Links Frequency: Select frequency with which Additional Links will be updated in the Sitemap.
Additional Links Priority: Set Priority for updating Additional Links in the Sitemap.
Additional Links: If additional links are included in the Sitemap, add additional links which will be included in the Sitemap.
Use Sitemap Index: Select ‘Yes’ to add indexing in the Sitemap.
Max links per Sitemap: Add number of links which will be added in a single Sitemap.

Robot Meta Configurations
In this tab, admin will be able to set Robot Meta Configurations for the website. Here is the detailed description of the configuration.
Robots Meta Headers for HTTPS: Admin will be able to choose robot Meta headers for HTTPS from here. Possible options are:

Min Filters Count to set NOINDEX, FOLLOW: Admin can add minimum filter counts after
which page will be set to NOINDEX, FOLLOW. If it will be empty or '0' - the feature is disabled.
Attribute Combinations: Admin will be able to set particular Meta Property for attribute combinations. For ex.
index,follow: price - it sets the INDEX, FOLLOW Meta robot tag when 'price'
attribute is selected.
index,follow: color,brand - it sets the INDEX,FOLLOW Meta robot tag when ‘color’ or ‘brand’ attributes are selected.
noindex,follow: color+brand - it sets the NOINDEX,FOLLOW Meta robot tag when both ‘color’ and ‘brand’ attributes are selected at the same time.
NOINDEX, FOLLOW Robots Meta Header for Additional Pages: Admin will be able to add
specific additional pages for which NOINDEX; FOLLOW Robots Meta Header will be set.
NOINDEX, NOFOLLOW Robots Meta Header for Additional Pages: Admin will be able to add specific additional pages for which NOINDEX, NOFOLLOW Robots Meta Header will be set.
Robots.txt Editor: Admin will be able to manage robots.txt file from the extension itself. Admin can add data for Robots.txt file and update it by clicking on Load Robots.txt Changes button.

Creating Template for Catalog
Go to Biztech SEO Hub → Catalog Templates.
You will have list of templates that you have defined for various products and categories. You will be able to apply it for products / categories as well as Test Apply it which will provide CSV file with possible changes. It will show products / category name along with possible changes with before change and after change values.
Admin can edit the template as well upon requirement. Admin will be able to create templates for store Products and Categories.

Creating Template for Products
To create a product Template click on ‘New Catalog Template’ and choose ‘Template Category’ as Product.
While creating a template for products you can choose following data:
Template Name: Add name of the template.
Template Category: Choose template category. Possible options are:

Type: Choose type of category for which you want to create template for. Possible options

Admin will be able to add products to the template as well. To add products to the template go to Products in the template and get list of products from the store.

To create a Category Template click on New Catalog template and choose Template Category as Category.
While creating a template for category you can choose following data:

You will have list of templates that you have defined for various CMS Pages. You will be able to apply it for CMS Pages as well as Test Apply it which will provide CSV file with possible changes. Go to SEO Hub → URL Meta Management.
You will have list of templates that you have defined for various URLs. Admin can edit the template as well upon requirement.
To create a New URL Meta Template click on New URL Meta Template. While making a New URL Meta Management Template you can add following data:
Pattern of URL or Action Name: Add pattern of the URL for which this template s being
made.
Visible In: Choose Store view for which this template will be used.
Template Status: Select ‘Enabled’ to enable the template across the selected store view.
SEO Name (Page Title): Add SEO Name for the page which will be used after applying the
template. You can use {website} or {store} as a global variable.
Meta Title: Add Meta Title for the page which will be used after applying the template. You can use {website} or {store} as a global variable.
Meta Keywords: Add Meta Keywords for the page which will be used after applying the template. You can use {website} or {store} as a global variable.

You will have list of templates that you have defined for various Blog Categories. Admin can edit the template as well upon requirement.

Managing Link Redirection
Admin will be able to add Product details for which custom redirection is need to be done. Go to SEO Hub → Links Redirection Manager.
Here admin will have list of products for which redirection is managed. Admin can also import Link Redirections via CSV files by clicking on ‘Import CSV’ button.
In the grid admin will be able to see Product ID, Product Name, Product SKU, Requested Path, whether rewrite is synced with Magento Rewrite or not and an option to Edit the existing redirection.
Admin can click on New Link Redirection button to create a new redirection. While adding a new redirection admin will be able to add following details:
Product ID: Add ID of the product.
Product SKU: Add SKU of the product.
Product Name: Add Name of the product.
Request Path: Add path on which redirection is made.
Product Category: Add category of the product.

Managing Canonical URL
Admin will be able to set Canonical URL for specific Product or Category. For this go to SEO Hub → Links Canonical URL Manager.
Here admin will have list of products and categories for which Canonical URLs are managed. Admin can also import Canonical URLs for specific product or category via CSV files by clicking on Import CSV button.
In the grid admin will be able to see Type for which Canonical URL is managed, Name of the Product / Category and Canonical URL and an option to edit the existing Canonical URL Management.
Admin will be able to add a new canonical URL to the list by clicking on New Canonical URL. While adding a new canonical URL admin will be able to add following details.
Type: Add type for which canonical URL is being made. Possible options are Product &
Category.

Product / Categories: Choose Product / Category from list of products & categories across
the store.
Canonical URL: Add canonical URL path without adding Base URL.
Site Map Management
Admin will be able to create a google sitemap for the store from here. For this go to SEO Hub → Google Sitemap.
Here admin will have list of sitemaps created for the store. Admin will be able to view Last Generated Date of the Sitemap along with the option to generate the Sitemap.
To create a new sitemap admin can click on ‘Add Sitemap’ button and add sitemap name along with the store view for which sitemap will be created.

Data Feed Generator Management
Admin will be able to create a data feed for the store products / categories from here. For this go to SEO Hub → Data Feed Generator.
Here admin will have list of feeds generated for the store. In the list admin will be able to view following configurations along with option to edit the feed.

To create a new data feed admin can click on Add Data Feedbutton. While adding a new Data Feed admin will be able to add following configurations:
Data Feed Type: Choose website for which Data Feed will be generated.

Status: Choose status of the Data feed, it can be Enabled / Disabled.

Name: Add name for the Data feed.
URL Key: Add URL Key for the Data feed. For the URL key valid extensions are csv, xml & txt.
Store View: Choose store view for which data feed is created.
Number of Items in Feed: Add number of items which will be added in the data feed.
Cache Life Time (seconds): Add life time of the Feed.

Admin can also set template for the data feed as well. Admin can add Header, Item and Footer for the feed created visa template.

Points to Note
For Blog Post Page & Category Meta Description Template WP Fishpig Extension Is Necessary
All the Templates will make Changes Directly at DB Level
For Meta Description SEO Hub Extension will have Top Priority. All The Current Meta Description
will be Overridden by SEO Hub.
If Link Redirection is set to “No” from the admin configurations, previous redirections will not be
terminated but the new redirections will not occur.
For Robots Meta Attribute Combinations, all Filters are differentiated by "|"
The parameter "?limit=all” will be added to the canonical URL of category pages if “Allow All
Products per Page” is enabled.
FAQ
1. What is the benefit of SEO Hub extension for my Magento store?
Ans: The SEO Hub extension allows to you update Meta data of products, categories, CMS pages, blog categories
and comments dynamically and in bulk. Thus, reduces your manual efforts and your precious time. I want to
enable extension in more than one domain, How can I do so?
2. Does it overwrite existing Meta data of my store?
Ans: Yes, the Meta data will be overwritten by our extension.
3. Is there a way where I can see the new values of Meta data before application?
Ans: Yes, you can use the “Test Apply” feature of our extension which downloads a CSV file to your system
including the old and new values of Meta data.
4. What if, something goes wrong and the Meta data does not apply?
Ans: If the feature of debug is enabled in the configuration, then a log file will be managed on your server which
records the error. You can contact our support team for further assistance.
5. What does Catalog, CMS, URL Meta and Blog templates mean?
Ans: This extension allows you to create templates for the mentioned entities so that you can dynamically apply
these templates to multiple products, categories, CMS pages and blogs.
6. Is there any automatic way of applying templates?
Ans: Yes, you can set the templates to be applied by cron. So, when the cron runs on your server the templates
will be applied automatically.

7. If I have a template for certain product, and also URL Meta template for it. So, which one would have higher
priority?
Ans: The URL Meta template will have higher priority among all the templates.
8. The templates do not seem to be applied. What to do?
Ans: Please verify whether the “Apply” button is clicked if you opt for the manual way for Catalog and URL Meta
templates. For CMS and blog, please ensure that the status is enabled.
9. Is there a way where I can limit the number of items for template application?
Ans: Yes, you can specify the limit for number of items on which the templates will be applied at a time.
10. I want to apply limit on the Meta title and description characters. Can your extension do this?
Ans: Yes, our extension also provides the provision to specify the number of characters for meta title and
description. So, it will truncate the characters after limit is reached.
11. Does this extension helps to redirect URL of deleted products on store?
Ans: Yes, the “Link Redirection” feature of the extension allows you to redirect URLs of deleted products and even
add URL redirection for other pages as well.
12. Can a time period be set for URL link redirections?
Ans: Yes, the time period can be set in days.
13. Is it possible to manage the canonical URLs with this extension?
Ans: Yes, our extension gives many options to manage the canonical URLs.
14. Can I manage the Sitemap (both HTML and xml) using this extension?
Ans: Yes, our extension provides both HTML and xml sitemap management.
15. Do I need to manually generate the site map and submit to Google every time?
Ans: It is not necessary to manually generate the sitemap every time, you can set its generation by cron and needs
to be submitted only once to Google. After that, it will take from your site.
