The Principal Call Committee would like to extend our thanks to the members of our church for keeping Trinity Lutheran School as a priority of the ministry of our congregation! Upon approval of the resolution at the voter's meeting, we would invite you to submit any names of Rostered LCMS Teachers that you would like to have considered for the call in writing to Shelly Geiser by February 6, 2017.

There is a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board for the February 12th coffee hour. Please sign up as to what you would like to bring.

We will resume practice starting Monday, January 30th at 7:00PM. Just a reminder that we are hosting a coffee hour on Feb. 12th for Friendship Sunday! Hope to see you all there! Anyone else interested in joining the choir? Please join us now through Easter!

Trinity is celebrating its first annual Friendship Sunday on Sunday February 12th. Everyone is encouraged to bring a relative, co-worker, neighbor or friend with you to church. Coffee hour will be served and will have gift bags for all visitors.

- Trinity's chicken dinner and auction will be held on Saturday, February 4, at Neighborhood Pub & Grill. There will be a chicken buffet being served from 5:30-7:30P.M. Tickets will be going on sale January 15 at church in between services. Adult tickets are $12 and children ages 4-10 are $6. A sign-up sheet to donate pies for the pie auction is located in the narthex. Please talk to Kathy Lemke, Miranda Lemke, Elyse Schmitting, or other youth members if you would like tickets to this event.

Handbell practice will resume January 30th at 6:00pm.

In bible class today, we continue to see with John, the vision of heavenly worship, and what it means for the church now. Please join us in the church basement at 9:00 as we gather around God's Word to us.

will be meeting this Thursday afternoon at 1:30. Members should bring in their mites for LWML and also bring a non-perishable food item for the Salvation Army. Food items may also be placed in the blue barrel in the narthex.

We have had an anonymous donation given to the church again this year for the Adopt-A-Payment program. They will donate an additional $100 towards the principal of the loan per month that is pledged by March 1st. Please sign up to participate in the

2017 Believing for a Reason by contacting Stephanie in the school office at 853-3134. You can choose to cover the whole month or a partial month of the mortgage.

Thank you to the children of LeRoy and Ethel Riemer and the children of Evelyn and Elroy Brandenburg for their generous donation in the amount of $1,000.00 to help start a scholarship fund to assist students in the school and daycare. LeRoy and his parents were former members of Trinity Rantoul. LeRoy Died on December 7, 2016 and was laid to rest at Rantoul on December 13, 2016.

There is a bulletin donation sheet located in the narthex on the bulletin board for anyone interested in contributing toward them. The cost is $50.00 per month if you would like to donate.
