Using App to Read EBSCOhost eBook @ Your Mobile Devices

Step 1: Download “Bluefire Reader” to your mobile devices

Bluefire Reader App Store Play Store

Step 2: Login or Create an Adobe ID

Please authorize with your Adobe ID.

To get an Adobe ID, please click “Create a free Adobe ID”.

You may use your own

email account for

registration.

Step 3: Create My EBSCOhost Account

Go to the Library Homepage (https://library.hsu.edu.hk) and click ”Databases A-Z” , then select “EBSCOhost eBook

Collection”.

Please make sure that you are using Campus’ computers, HSUHK-WIFI or VPN connected devices before entering the

database.

• Click on the top

right corner after

entering the

database.

• Select “Sign in”.

Step 4: Checkout and download an eBook

Please use HSUHK email

account for registration.

• You can click “Sign

in with Google” for

access of database

using your Google

(Gmail) credentials.

• Alternatively, you

can click “Create

one now” to create

a new account.

• Find an eBook you want to download. • Select “Download (offline)”. • Select “Checkout & Download”.

• Choose “Bluefire Reader” to

proceed the download.

• Once the download is complete , you

can view the eBook on the bookshelf

of “Bluefire Reader”.
