Using CrossRef to add works to your ORCID iD

Adding the details of your published works to ORCID

using the CrossRef integration is simple

Scroll down to “Works”, and click on the “Link

Works” button

In the pop-up window, click on

“CrossRef Metadata Search”

Select “Authorize” to give the CrossRef system permission to make

changes to your ORCID account

Search for your published works by title or other metadata

When you have found an article you have authored, click the “Add

to ORCID” link

Confirm the addition to your ORCID iD

The record will now be displayed as being in your

ORCID profile

Repeat for all of your other publications

Works that you add in this way will now be displayed in your

ORCID record
