What is Intute?

• Intute is a free, national Internet service aimed primarily at higher education, providing the very best web resources for teaching, learning and research - and funded by JISC

What are newsfeeds?

• A newsfeed or RSS delivers content from one website to another

• Content is updated for you

• A bit like a current awareness service

• Blogs are often offered as newsfeeds

• You can put newsfeeds into an aggregator (a special service)

• Is Intute’s customising service

• You can save Intute records in a secure space

• Tag records with your own keywords

• Export them to your Web pages

• Keep them updated with JavaScript option

• A simple ‘links basket’ version is being written

• New ratings service introduced
