Logging In

1. Go to noodletools.com

2. Click on Log In

3. Use your Office 365 email to Sign In with Office 365

[email protected]

Setting Up a Project

1. Click on the Projects tab.

2. Click the green +New project button or text.

3. Title your Project.

4. Style: MLA unless

otherwise instructed.

Create a Citation

1. Click on the Sources tab.

2. Click the green + Create new citation button or text.

Junior Options Starter Options

Exporting & Printing Your Citations

1. Under the Sources tab, use the Print/Export drop

down menu, choose Print/Export to Word.

2. A window will pop up, informing you that you

can trust the download.

3. If you are in Chrome, your download

will appear in the lower left of the

screen. Double click it to open the

Word document.

4. Once your document opens, make sure you Enable

Editing so that you can type your name into the

header. Do not make ANY other changes to font or

formatting of your citations. Print at usual.

Citing a Webpage (Junior)

1. Click on the Website tab.

2. Choose exactly what you’ll be citing. When in doubt, go with Web Page.

3. Fill in as much information as

possible. NoodleTools will suggest

Hints when you place your cursor in

the boxes.

Web address (http://www…..)

When was it published?

When did you read it?

Who wrote the info?

ARTICLE title

Citing a Database (Junior)

1. Databases typically contain already formatted citations. On the page that

contains your article, look for icons labeled “Citation Tools” or “Cite”.

2. Look for the

MLA formatted

citation & copy it.

3. In NoodleTools’ Sources Tab, click on the Database tab.

4. Choose exactly what you’ll be citing. When in doubt, go with Original Content in

Database.

5. Click on Quick

Cite: Copy &

paste a citation.

6. Don’t forget to click the Save

button when you’re finished!
