Hi Virtual Assistant,

I would like you to use SEMRUSH for our client. Please follow the step-by-step procedure below. Below is the information you will need.

Please Follow the Steps Below

STEP1, 2

1) Go to www.semrush.com

2) Use the dropdown box on the right of the search bar to �rst select the Google country site you aregoing to be using.


STEP3, 4

3) Enter the client’s website URL provided above into the search bar and click ‘SEARCH’.

4) Click ‘Positions’ under ‘Organic Research’ on left hand side.


STEP5, 6

5) Scroll Down and Click ‘Export’ to pull the data into a CSV �le.

6) From the ‘Export data’ popup, click on the CSV or XLS icon


STEP7, 8

7) Open CSV File and From Data tab, Add Filters to the top row.

8) Filter position column and remove anything under a 5 by un-checking the boxes (keep pages with a position of 5 or higher as Google already likes these pages and it’ll be easier to push your page up the list with links). Click OK to apply the filter.

Note: For competitor URL's DO NOT un-check any of the boxes as you'll want to know the keywords working best for them


STEP9,10

9) On the Data tab, click Sort.

10) In the Sort popup, on the first level, select Volume and sort by ‘Largest to Smallest’ order. Click ‘ Add Level’ button and select ‘Position’ and sort by ‘Smallest to Largest’ order. Click ‘OK’


STEP11, 12

11) This leaves you with the top ranking keywords with the most search volume. Save the file and e-mail it to me

12) Repeat this process for all URL’s provided and e-mail the completed �les to me.
