Breeze – five years on…
Background
• Sport England Active Women Fund in 2011
• Breeze is friendly, fun, local and social. It’s very informal – it has grown in different areas, in different ways. Breeze is shaped by the women involved – that’s what makes it unique.
• Aims to empower women and change the face of recreational cycling.
• It’s about getting out on your bike with friends.
• Many of the women involved are new to biking or getting back on their bikes after many years and we aim to make it a ‘breeze’ to do so!
It’s about engaging women on our rides
and through our partnerships
