Using the PrinterOn App for Smartphones & Tablets Note: Your menu buttons and screen layout may look different from these instructions depending on which device you own

a. Open the app store on yourdevice

b. Search “PrinterOn" in thesearch box. Tap Search on the keyboard.

c. Tap +Open, +Install or+Free next to OMC from either the app details or search results screen.

Download the free PrinterOn app To download the app for:

• iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad - Visit the iTunes App Store.

• Android - Visit the Google Play Store.

Note: App is currently unavailable on Kindle Fire.

Using the PrinterOn App for Smartphones & Tablets

Printing from your mobile device• Print content using the PrinterOn app screen options.

• Open the PrinterOn app on your device.

• Use the Search feature to find your library.

Note: You may tap on Documents, Photos, or Web.

a. Open PrinterOn, tapon the No PrinterSelected button atthe bottom of thePrinterOn app screen.

b. Find the Library's public printeroption by inputting "TLCPL” in the search box and choosing your location.


Finding a printer • Select content that has been stored on your device.

• View the content on the PrinterOn app and tap on the printer icon at the top right of the image screen.

• Tap on Save.

Note: In our example, we have selected Photos.


Note: The Delete option confirms your printer choice has been saved.


Printing Using the PrinterOn Screen Options • Printers are categorized by Black & White printer or Color copier, then by Location

• First choose the printer type (Black & White or Color)

• Then find your location in the list

Note: A listing of all the Toledo Lucas County Public library branches will appear.

Printing a document using PrinterOn • Tap on the Documents icon. Select a document that has been stored on your device (in this case fromiCloud).

• View the document on the PrinterOn app and tap on the printer icon at the top right of the image screen

Note: You will need to enable/allow device access for the app to run

Note: Can upload from iCloud, Drive, DropBox, and etc.

Printing a photo using PrinterOn • Tap on the Photos icon. Select an image that has been stored on your device.

• View the image on the PrinterOn app and tap on the printer icon at the top right of the image screen.

Note: To change printers, tap on the current printer and switch to the printer you want.

b. Input your email address and tap on thecheckmark at the top of screen

d. Type your email addressat the public print station.

c. The PrinterOn applicationwill indicate when your print job has been sent to a Library public printer station.

Printing a webpage using PrinterOn • Tap on the Web icon. Type in the url/web address.

• View the webpage on the PrinterOn app and tap on the printer icon at the top right of the image screen.

• Tap on Print.

• PrinterOn is TLCPL’s solution to mobile printing inside of the Library, but also offers the ability to printfrom outside of the Library to any Library printer.

• Your printer location and type (B&W / Color) should be chosen before making any document, picture,or URL selection.

• Printing costs the same as if you were inside of the Library: $0.15 B&W and $0.50 Color.

• You will not be charged for printing until you release the print job at the Library.

• Print Jobs last until the end of the Library business day and then are wiped from our system. You willneed to resend the print job if this occurs.

• The images below show the normal process after entering your email address into the print releasestation. The email address entered during printing is the only way to retrieve a print job.
