Shrimati Krishna Chaudhary, daughter of late Shri Karam Chand Mahotra was born in 1927

at Mirpur (Now in Pakistan occupied Kashmir). She had four brothers and two sisters. Her

father was a DFO.

She completed her matriculation and joined service as a teacher. She got married to Shri Sita Ram

Chaudhary in 1944. Her husband was working in Sericulture Department. During partition in

1947 the family migrated to Kanpur and finally settled in Jammu. She was blessed with four sons

and two daughters whom she provided good education. Her eldest son is a retired senior Scientist

in USA, second son is retired General Manager of Oriental Insurance Company and presently in

State Times, third son is running a private School at RS Pura and the fourth is AEE in PDC. Her

elder daughter is married to an Army officer and second daughter is married to an Engineer.

She was a very wise and visionary lady who had great respect in the family as well as in the

society. She was very helpful to the poor and needy people. She was a God fearing lady and quite

regular in her Pooja Path. She remained always very health cautious and maintained good health

till last.

She was greatly shocked due to death of her husband eight years back. She breathed her last on

May 30, 2018 after a brief ailment. She is survived by her four sons, two daughters and grand

children. May God give eternal peace to the departed soul and courage to the family members to
