Clicking on the icon to the left of the search results page will bring up

any size files including E size drawings. Again, specific index fields are

determined by you with our guidance if desired.

Application

This is one of the standard setups for our Operations application. This application

has very robust search options.

In this example users can narrow down their search by several criteria to quickly

find what they need. For example, by clicking on an area of the map they can

narrow down their search graphically. A simple word search can also be done

because as documents are uploaded, every word on every page is automatically

indexed using OCR. Users can also type the subject they’re researching right into

the search box on the top of the page. As an alternative, the document tree on the

left makes it easy to navigate to the desired area of the O&M quickly to find what

you need.

UtilityMaestro™

The optional DocFlow™ module for UtilityMaestro adds workflow functionality to the system. With

DocFlow, documents such as contracts, permit renewals, monthly operating reports, etc., that

need to go through a series of approvals or need additional input or attachments from other

divisions or personnel, can be automatically routed to these various locations, divisions, or

agencies using UtilityMaestro. Now, important documentation won’t get misplaced and can even

be tracked electronically. Instead of making several calls and playing phone tag to find the status

or location of a document, authorized users can simply click on the DocFlow module in

UtilityMaestro to check on a document’s status immediately. As with UtilityMaestro, DocFlow has

been created as a result of much input from ISPA’s utility customer base.
