MARCH SHOWS

Yesterday, A Tribute to the BeatlesSaturday, March 7 at 8 p.m. — $25 per person

Take a musical journey to a bygone era of peace, love and innocence with the #1 Beatles tribute act in the world — Yesterday. These four artists perform worldwide thrilling audiences on six continents with exciting vocals, witty stage

mannerisms and costume changes as they perform music from the Beatles early years through the Sgt. Pepper era. Join them on “Mystery Tour” from 1964-1970 as you go back in time with this convincing and accurate portrayal by Yesterday! “The British are Coming”

This show is a live reenactment of the revolutionary concerts introducing the first wave of British sounds to America. Join us in welcoming John, Paul, George and Ringo!

Michael AmanteSaturday, March 14 at 8:45 p.m. — $30 per person

Michael Amante, one of the most talked about upcoming American tenors on either side of the pop/classical divide, creates buzz among everyone who hears his voice. Backed by rave reviews, momentum continues to build behind this inspired artist.

Amante’s debut album, self-titled, Michael Amante, topped Billboard Magazine’s 2002 charts at #1 for Top Midline Classical Artist, and #5 for Top Midline Classical Album. The album was widely recognized, and Amante has been hailed as “The Fourth Tenor,” by entertainer, Regis Philbin and “The next Mario Lanza” by artist Tony Bennett. The New York Post dubbed Amante as “the golden-voiced tenor.” Amante is one of the most versatile and gifted performers anywhere. He performs a mind blowing array of styles from High Classical to Pop/Rock and Broadway.

Not only has Amante performed to sold out audiences across the country, including Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, The Sands Casino in Atlantic City, and New York City’s Lincoln Center, he has also given performances to countless dignitaries including former US Presidents Gerald Ford, George H.W. Bush, and Bill Clinton, Pope John Paul II, Luciano Pavarotti, Sophia Loren, Sidney Poitier, Denzel Washington, and Julia Roberts, to name a few.

Joe PiscopoSaturday, March 21 at 8 p.m. — $30 per person

Television, film, theater, nightclubs... they’re all fields in which Joe Piscopo has won the acclaim and affection of millions. In 1980, Joe was chosen to join a newly formed ensemble charged with one of the most difficult tasks in TV history... replacing the original cast of Saturday Night Live.

By the time he left the show in 1985, Joe had left his mark on the program and the nation thanks to his wide range of hilarious original characters and

celebrity impersonations, from The Sports Guy and Doug Whiner to David Letterman and, of course, Frank Sinatra, who had repeatedly endorsed Joe’s portrayal of him. In addition, Joe starred in 3 HBO specials, his work in the first of these, The Joe Piscopo Special, won him a Cable ACE Award for Outstanding Performance.

In Hollywood, Joe starred in such smash hits as “Wise Guys” and “Johnny Dangerously.” Joe appeared in a myriad of films and eventually moved onto Broadway where he appeared in the revival of “Grease” to standing room only crowds.

At Valencia Pointe, Joe will showcase his comedic talents, impressions as well as his musical abilities. You won’t want to miss this extraordinary show!

Sal Richards & Dick CapriSaturday, March 28 at 8 p.m. — $30 per person

Sal Richards and Dick Capri are each comedy powerhouses. Usually, they headlines shows alone. To end the Valencia season on a high, we have paired them together for a night you will not soon forget! These two comics will have you laughing until you cry and your stomach hurts.

Sal Richards is a Brooklyn native deemed one of the funniest guys in showbiz by the New York Daily News and voted entertainer of the year in Atlantic City many times over. Also in the entertainment industry, he was voted funniest comic by the New York Friars Club. Sal has appeared in films including Rounders, Fighting Back, Law & Order: Criminal Intent and costarred with Stephen Segal in Out For Justice. Although he does serious roles in movies and television, comedy remains Sal’s first love as he is regularly performing venues across the nation.

Dick Capri has taken the comedy world by storm and has left millions laughing in his comedic wake. In a career that has spanned two continents, he has played every major entertainment medium including nightclubs, resorts, arenas and theaters. Capri has even plied his trade on the Broadway stage and on national television. He has worked with such major stars as Tom Jones, Liza Minnelli, and Frank Sinatra.

Adapted from author Nicholas Sparks’ popular romance novel, director George C. Wolfe’s Nights in Rodanthe tells the tale of a doctor (Richard Gere) en route to reconcile with his estranged son when his benevolent mission is sidelined upon checking into a North Carolina beach-town inn. When the doctor arrives at the inn, he enters into a passionate affair with an unhappily married

woman (Diane Lane) who is currently considering divorce.

Longing to discover the identity of her true father before she exchanges her wedding vows, the daughter of a once-rebellious single mother secretly invites a trio of paternal candidates to her upcoming wedding in this feature adaptation of the beloved stage musical, Mamma Mia! Phyllida Lloyd, director of both the original London sensation as well as the hit Broadway incarnation, makes her feature directorial debut with this big-screen version of the beloved musical featuring 22 classic ABBA hits. Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth, Stellan Skarsgård, and Dominic Cooper co-star.
