IntroductionIn this document, I provide you with some master painting examples of different compressed value ranges, being:

High-Key Paintings: The values are compressed towards the light end of the value scale. Low-Key Paintings: The values are compressed towards the dark end of the value scale. High Contrast Paintings: The values are compressed towards the extremes. High-Key Plus Dark Accent: Light values are used with small, dark areas. Low-Key Plus Light Accent: Dark values are used with small, light areas.
