Make disciples – to teach, instruct

Behold – look here, Hebrew narrative style used to change thought or emphasis

Reiteration: I have the right and power to control your lives so here’s what I want you to do. Continue what we have started. Go and make disciples. By that, I mean lead them to make a commitment to me and teach them my commands. And look here, right here, focus on this right now…I will be with you. Concerning the church’s vision:

1. Let’s plan like Jesus has the right and power to control our destiny. 2. Let’s make our ministries mobile. 3. Let’s strive for complete discipleship. 4. Let’s look at Jesus.

AWANA will begin on Wednesday, September 7, 2016. Time: 6:15-7:45pm. We will need volunteers in the Preschool with Babies, 2/3's (Puggles), and 4's (Cubbies).

Volunteers are needed for K-5th graders during Handbook time to listen and help children recite their memory Bible verses and to insure the child has both ‘head and heart’ knowledge of the verses memorized.

Hospice & Community Care is thrilled to welcome Anita Renfroe as featured speaker at their 4th Annual Labor of Love event on Thursday, Sept. 1. Anita, a break-out YouTube sensation, rose to fame when she sang of everything a mother says to her children in a single day to the tune of "The William Tell Overture." Performing the tune in just two minutes and fifty-five seconds, the hilarious video has been viewed by millions. The event will feature a reception opening the evening at 6 p.m. and the program will begin at 7 p.m.

Several members, with grandchildren, took “sunshine baskets” to the local police and

sheriff offices. The officers were pleasantly surprised and thankful that they served in a town where they were appreciated. The class members also prayed with them.
