vConference SCOPIA Desktop User Guide - iOS 3

Install SCOPIA Mobile Step1

Download & install SCOPIA Mobile from PwC AppStore after you complete Mobile Device registration or from Apple Store.

Step2

Tap to open SCOPIA Mobile application and tap Setting icon for initial setup.


Step3

Enter https://vc.pwchk.com in the SCOPIA Desktop Server textbox.

Step 4

Enter your GUID and password.

Step 5

Tap Done to finish.

Setup a meeting Step 1

Send a meeting invitation email to all participants with the following information:

1. https://vc.pwchk.com

2. Meeting ID (your Virtual Room number)

3. Meeting PIN

Below is an email template for your reference.

Join a meeting Step 1

1. Open the link https://vc.pwchk.com in your browser.

2. Read the vConference Tips and Terms & Conditions.

3. Click X to continue.




Step 2

1. Enter meeting ID (Meeting ID is same as host’s office telephone number.) and tap Join Meeting. SCOPIA Mobile application is started.

2. Input PIN and tap OK to enter the meeting.


Step 3

You may tap to open SCOPIA Mobile application

In SCOPIA Mobile application, you can join a meeting as a host or an invitee.

If you are the host:

1. You need send an invitation email to invitee with meeting date, time, Meeting ID and Meeting PIN (Meeting ID is same as your office telephone number).

2. Tap Connect to your virtual room.


If you are invitee,

1. Enter the Meeting ID (Meeting ID is same as

host’s office telephone number.) 2. Tap

Connect.

Step 4

Before the moderator PIN is entered, you may stay in waiting room and wait for talking with others. A message of “You have been moved to the waiting room. Please wait.” is played too.


Note:

1. It is recommended using wired headset to join a meeting. If you are not going to talk in the meeting, please mute your phone or headset.

2. If the following error message is prompted, the host locks the meeting. Please contact the host.

Lock a meeting You can lock the meeting to disallow anyone to join meeting.

Tap OFF to ON in the Lock Meeting


When this meeting is locked and someone wants to join the meeting, he or she will receive the following error message.


Disconnect from a meeting If you choose disconnect, you will be disconnected from the meeting. This will not affect other participates and the meeting will keep going.

Step 1

In a meeting, tap the video to call a menu.

Step 2 Tap Disconnect

Step 3

Tap Yes to confirm disconnect.


Terminate a meeting If you terminate the meeting, all participants will be disconnected from the meeting and the virtual room will be closed immediately.

Step 1

In a meeting, turn your iOS device to portrait then tap the Options.

Tap Yes to confirm terminate meeting.

Remark: This is only available to user who logs in with GUID.

Tap Show/hide the conference overlay

Double Tap Double tap on video in continuous

presence – zooms to show only that

Two-finger Tap Quickly switch between video and

presentation

Drag and Drop You can drag a participant from the

Continuous Presence to an occupied

slot (participants will swap) or an

empty slot (to move participant)

Long Press Touch and hold the video to show the

remote video menu

Drag Local video Drag Local Video: if you choose to

display your own video, you can

move it to any corner of the screen –

just touch it and move it where you

want (try to throw it!)

video Tap the local video to display an X

icon – tap the X icon to hide the local

video


Presentation Gesture Gesture Action

Tap Show/hide the Power Slider (this

will be in sync with toolbar in

landscape)

Swipe left Go to the next slide if in Replay mode, or back to Live mode if the current slide is the last one

Swipe right Go back one slide

Pinch / Reverse When presentation is in the large view, you can zoom in/out the presentation

Change PIN for your virtual Room Please use vConference SCOPIA Desktop. You are required to change your default PIN during your initial login.

Step 1

Open a browser and enter https://vc.pwchk.com in the address bar.

Step 2

Click Setting on the top right corner and go to the Virtual Room tap. If you haven’t logged in, please login with your user ID and password.





Step 3

Check the checkbox of Protect meeting with a PIN and select Use permanent PIN. Then enter the PIN in the textbox. (Note: please use at least 6 digits for the PIN).

Step 4

Press OK to confirm.
