• Virtual Education Connection (VEC) is a network of Subject Matter Experts and Small Business Owners/Professionals/Entrepreneurs committed to providing a quality, diverse and interactive learning experience to small business owners and professionals

• VEC is also a network of small business owners and professionals that utilize their membership to receive discounts on classes or services and receive many valuable FREE tools

• Our experts are comprised of business owners, speakers, instructors, professionals and consultants

• Our network embraces cultural diversity and is utilized throughout the world

• Offer group training in the following categories: technology, communication, cultural diversity, business management, personal/professional growth, health/wellness and life issues

• Offer individualized training/ consulting services

• Conduct FREE, live online forums that address the various challenges and needs of small business owners, entrepreneurs and professionals. Sessions are hosted by VEC Subject Matter Experts or various guest speakers.

• Form strategic alliances with various organizations that offer products or services related to assisting small business owners, entrepreneurs and professionals

• Recruiting- – VEC assists recruiters in hosting virtual career fairs, group interviews, candidate placement, candidate

skills testing, additional skills training for potential candidates and the creation of video resumes for employers

• Tutoring- Coming Soon in 2009…….– VEC has partnered with the World Tutor Exchange and starting in early 2009 will be able to offer

tutoring services to children in grades K-12. The benefits to this program include: access to qualified tutors all over the world, 24 hour tutoring availability, exposure to different cultures and more…..

• Small Business Resources-– VEC offers affordable training or tools to small business owners and entrepreneurs to help them start

or maintain a successful organization. This can be accomplished through group or individualized training.

– We also partner with other organizations that provide quality services that are essential for the Small Business Owner. These services are provided at a discount to VEC Network Members.

• Internships- This is a program designed for college students, usually in their junior or senior year. A limited number of students are selected each semester in the following majors: sales &marketing, graphic design, communication and business– Our program prepares students to become global players in the business market place

with an emphasis placed on cultural diversity– Assists them in building dynamic portfolios to present to future employers– Develops or enhances leadership and/or entrepreneurship potential

• Benefits to our Professional Network include: additional marketing for products/services, assistance with various projects requested by network members and potential strategic alliances upon successful completion of the internship program

• There are two types of members– VEC Subject Matter Experts– Small Business Owners/Professionals/Entrepreneurs

• Application Process – we are selective of our members to ensure quality and effectiveness of the learning

experience– Professional Network Membership Application is filled out by potential VEC Subject

Matter Experts or Professionals and submitted via https://spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?key=pFY0YVMNQIFkw_gZ1sWdrVA&hl=en

– Approval/Denial notification is sent via email within 48 hours of submission– Once membership is approved, a Professional Network and Orientation Guide will be

sent via email detailing the next steps in the membership process

• Must provide one or more of the following depending on the course(s) and level you will be presenting: resume references, testimonials, portfolio(s), credentials/certificates (depending on course topic) and demonstration of proficiency in course matter.

• Must agree to the VEC Terms of Service Agreement for Presenting

• Pay $10/month membership fee or $90 Annual membership fee (25% discount). This fee covers unlimited webinar platform usage, server space, technology training on using our site and online training platform, user accounts to all our websites and unlimited customized webinar setup consultations.

• Understand that the marketing of courses, products and/or services is a collaborative marketing effort on the part of VEC and the Subject Matter Experts and developing a strategic marketing plan is essential to our success
