We have been developing solutions for theatres, studios, event technology and trade fair construction work for more than 20 years. Our mission is to support the work of people in responsibility and translate ideas into practice in a reliable and plannable fashion at all times.

We work to provide quality and safety behind large stage scenes as a developer, planner and manufacturer.

The Ventum-S modular system is certified by the German Technical Inspection Agency (TÜV) and it enables static aluminium superstructure work.

It is a system that has been developed for what is required on stage. Our cus-tomers describe their work with the modular system as their key to variability, quality and efficiency.

The State Operetta Dresden is fully equipped with Ventum-S materials.

The system is virtually in use every day. We use Ventum-S materials on the main stage, the rehearsal stages and for guest performances. The system’s most outstanding features are its flexi-bility and long serviceable life.

The flexibility allows us to use the system in almost every production. We create a wide variety of ele-ments ranging from a simple stage trolley to stan-dard stairways and substructures for panels and even multi-storey constructions made of standard materials for productions.

This saves time, money and effort. The system’s long serviceable life was confirmed du-ring an extensive overhaul of the modular elements in 2012. Although most of the parts are about 20 years old, we only had to reject very little (<5%).

By using the standard components, we can largely forego any special designs that would be necessary otherwise.

The savings in time and man-hours as a result enab-le us to cope with the amount of work that we face. We would never have been able to handle many demands in the time available or within our existing budget without the Ventum-S system.

We have been working with Ventum-S materials at the Neue Bühne Senftenberg theatre since 1996.

I was responsible for purchasing the equipment and made my decision after carefully considering the advantages and disadvantages of the stage systems available on the market. The basic advantages of the system are its flexibility, its universal versatility and the speed with which it can be used.

We permanently use the system for setting up de-corations, static superstructures, mock-up sets and when on tour.

Despite the lightness of the individual elements, the Ventum-S system has proved extremely robust, tough and long-lasting in daily use.

During mock-ups, it is possible to use the modular system to set up a convincing stage structure in a short time. The director and set designer are there-fore able to quickly compare their design with its technical implementation and make any necessary changes on the spot.

Because we are a travelling theatre, the lightness of the system and low transport volume are naturally crucial for us.

The flexibility of the system enables us to adapt the stage set to the prevailing circumstances very simply when we are on tour.

The Landesbühne Sachsen is Germany’s second-largest travelling theatre.

I can quickly enumerate the advantages of the Ven-tum-S modular system for us as a travelling theatre:

The system is very easy to carry and simple to use because the individual parts are light and it is pos-sible to collapse the Praktikabel (hinged) units for transport purposes.

The capacity required to transport the Ventum-S system in vehicles is low because the Praktikabel units can be collapsed. This saves us another vehicle or having to make an additional journey. Using the system enables us to employ the existing resources in the best possible way – and we are able to unload and load it quickly.

We benefit from the speed with which we can set up the system and its flexibility at our venue. Most of the system components that we use are now many years old and are in constant use. They withstand the rough treatment that is automatically part of a travelling theatre and seem to be “un-breakable”.

The Ventum-S system meets our special require-ments as a travelling theatre in an ideal manner.

For the performance of “Black Rider”, we needed an aluminium cube, which can be moved, turned and climbed. Ventum-S solved the task that we set them perfectly, despite the very tight schedule. The finished element was supplied on the agreed date. Ventum-S is a reliable partner for us for special alu-minium designs.

= Despite being in daily use, the Ventum-S system has proved to be robust, tough and long-lasting, even though the individual elements are light-weight.
