DSPS Exploratory Evaluation SurveyExported to Word from Qualtrics; formatting is theirs CCCCO DSPS Survey Regarding Evaluation The CCCCO is responding to the State Auditor's Report, which recommended that it reinstate its evaluation of DSPS programs in each of California's 114 community colleges at least once every five years. The Chancellor's Office has established a workgroup to investigate options for developing such a plan. One option under consideration includes the use of pre-existing college reports and documentation as a data source.
The purpose of this survey is to identify criteria that you are already evaluating or reporting via your campus program review process, MIS reporting, SSARCC reporting, Equity/SSSP/BSI reporting, accreditation self-evaluation, or internal documentation practices. We will also be collecting information regarding dates for your next comprehensive program review and accreditation site visit. This will help us to align evaluation scheduling with the timelines of other institutional reporting that you are already conducting.
This survey will take an hour or more to complete and your participation is critical. To assist you, links have been embedded in the survey for statutes and regulations that are referenced within the questions. However, you may also want to download Implementing Guidelines for Title 5 Implementing Guidelines (2016) in PDF format, (Word version also available). This document serves as a reference to all DSPS Title 5 regulations and how to implement them in practice. Both versions of the document are hyperlinked from the Table of Contents to the various sections for easy access. Should you want to prepare for the survey offline, a Word version of the survey was exported and is available for your use. In addition, if you need technical assistance, please contact Jill Baker ([email protected]).
For your convenience, a progress bar has been placed at the top of each page so that you can judge your progress and time. In addition, by using the link that was provided in your email, you will be able to continue working on the survey for up to two weeks. For best results, bookmark the link the first time you use it, and then use the bookmark each time you want to access it after that. All surveys will be due on the last day, which is April 8, 2018, at midnight, so be sure to submit your survey prior to this date and time.
