The following items are recommended kit list for the weekend. It is strongly recommended that you let your Cub, Scout or Explorer pack, providing additional assistance where appropriate. This increases the likelihood of them knowing what is in their bag and equally important, where it is. This kit list is intended for camping outdoors in July. Lightweight waterproof jacket Tea towel for drying dishes

Waterproof trousers Folding camp chair or stool

Walking boots or shoes Washing kit and towel

Trainers

Fleece or woollen hat Medicine (pls hand to leader!)

Fleece or woollen scarf Sun Cream

No more than £5 per day spending money

Sleeping bag & sleeping mat

Important additional information:

Please ensure all personal items are labelled with your child’s name!

Medicine should be clearly labelled with your child’s name & handed to the designated First

Aid leader.

Asthmatics should carry their inhaler and provide a labelled ‘spare’ to First Aid leader.

Any electronic device taken to camp is at the risk of the owner.

Leaders would prefer that no mobile phones are taken, but accept that some young people

are unable to function without them, so are taken at owners risk.
