Totally 160,097.2 m² area is utilized by SOLENTEGRE Enerji Yatırımları Ticaret A.Ş. for th power plant.The company has received preliminary permits for all of the land belonging to the Treasury. 10.260 TL was paid as a preliminary permit.Route of power transmission line passes through private lands. Expropriation will be done for the parts of the lands where the line passes. .

4.Consultations,Communications & Management of Grievances and Implementation Issues

-General Information About Project and Project Area :

Solentegre Enerji Yatırımları Ticaret A.Ş. , 8 MW licensed solar power plant is loacated in Elazığ Central district, within the boundries of Şahinkaya village, but 3.3 km away from the village settlement area.The location is 30 km away from Keban Dam .Elazig province, according to the Solar Energy Potential Atlas of General Directorate of Renewable Energy, with an annual average of 1600-1650 kWh / m² solar radiation potential, is a very suitable place for solar power plants.The company has received preliminary permits for a total of 160.097,2 m² Treasury land. 10.260 TL was

paid as a preliminary permit.

There aren’t any non-legal users of the area. During the side visit to the Project Side, a visual inspection by expert biologist was conducted and the presence of thorn was observed on the land. There are enough lands around available for being utilized as pasture, therefore the utilization of the land for SPP project will not effect the husbandary feeding of the village.

-Consultations,Communications & Management of Grievances:

The company organized a Stakeholder Consultation Meeting on 23.06.2015 at Şahinkaya Tea House.Solentegre SPP Manager Kürşat Tezkan gave information about the layout of solar panels and solar power plants in the world, accompanied by a presentation. Then a presentation was made by environmental engineer Derya Erika ÇAMURDANOĞLU of DOKAY, EIA consultant company. She evaluated the environmental and social impacts of the project.Then right to speak was given to the participants for comments, suggestions and questions. The questions asked in this section were answered by the project manager Kürşat Tezkan.He stated that, in the investment stage, it was planned to employ staff primarily from Şahinkaya village, Elazığ and surrounding areas. Also the needs of staff would be met from grocery store and other suppliers from the village. After commissioning, six staff was planned for operation. The preference would again be Şahinkaya village and the vicinity for these staff.

Corporate social responsibility:The solar power plant construction will not create negative affects to the area and to the people living around. However, under corporate social responsibility and for the purpose of establishing good relations in the region the company plans to do some aids to the village like;

-renewing the roads,-meeting some needs of the school and other public facilities.
