but Book Buddies is not easily adapted to a virtual environment, so we will not

Page Turner Adventures* (Daily, On Demand) Each Monday tune in for a fun virtual comedy story theater show, Tuesdays are Project tutorials, Wednesdays are author visits, Thursdays, are crafts and activities for tweens, and Friday are special guest performances. *Registration required through our private Facebook Group. The Mad Scientists’ Lab on Zoom (Mondays 1-1:30, starting June 29) We’ll have a science demo followed by a hands-on experiment or activity. For children entering grades 3 through 5. *Registration required. Project kits will need to be picked up at the library. Parent supervision recommended. Joey & Cissy on Zoom* (Mondays 3-4) Practice your reading skills with a very supportive canine listener. Widget and Joey love to hear stories from kids of all ages. *Registration required. Babies & Books on Zoom* (Tuesdays 10:30-11:15, starting June 30) Books, rhymes, and songs followed by time to socialize and play for babies and toddlers up to 2 years and a caregiver. *Registration required. Preschool Activity Club on Zoom* (Tuesdays 11:30-12, starting June 30) Preschoolers and their caregivers are welcome to join us for a fun art project or activity. Project kits will need to be picked up at the library. Ages 2-5. *Registration required. Garden Club on Zoom* (Wednesdays 11:30-12:15, starting July 1) We will be broadcasting on Zoom from our garden this summer and do some fun garden-themed crafts. Participants will have a plant to take care of and report on. For kids going into grades 2-5. *Registration required. Project kits will need to be picked up from the library. Fairy Tale Fiesta on Zoom* (Wednesdays, 1-1:45, starting July 1) Each week we’ll read a folk tale, fairy tale or fractured fairy tale and then do fun book-related activities. A program kit will need to be picked up from the library. *Registration required. Telling Tales on Zoom* (Wednesdays 3-4, starting July 1) Do you like creative writing? Spend time with other kids while enjoying fun activities. For kids going into grades 2-5. *Registration Required. Preschool Stories on Zoom* (Thursdays 10:30-11, starting July 2) Children ages 2-5 and their caregivers are welcome to join us Thursdays for stories, songs, movement, and fun! *Registration required. Lunch & Legos on Zoom* (Thursdays 12-12:45, starting July 2) Do you love LEGOs? Join other builders for lunch and share the projects you’re working on. Then we’ll do an activity together. *Registration required. Participants will need their own LEGOs to participate. For kids going into grades K-5. Craft Time on Zoom* (Thursdays 2-2:30, starting July 2) Get creative with fun crafts for kids going into grades K-5. Projects include flower fairies, pipe cleaner dragons, and more. *Registration required for each session. All ages. *Registration required. Book Bunch: Virtual Book Club* (Tuesday, June 30, July 14 & 28, 2:30-3:15) Join fellow book lovers to share what you’re reading now or books you’ve enjoyed recently. Then hear about some of the new books at the library. Then we’ll do a fun activity together. For grades 2-5. *Registration required. N.E.R.D.S. on Zoom* (Thursdays, July 2, 16, & 30, 4:30-5) Join the New Experiences and Remarkable Discoveries Society for a different fun activity each time we meet. It might be a craft, a game, or project. For grades 4-8. *Registration required. Family Fairy Tale Trivia on Zoom* (Tuesday, July 7, 7-8) How well do you know folk or fairy tales? Here’s your chance to find out. Families will compete as teams. *Registration required. Tech Time* (Fridays, July 10, 24 & August 7, 11-11:30) Have a chance to do fun projects with the library’s technology, including Button Making and Art Bots. Grades 2-5. *Registration required for each session. Project kits will need to be picked up at the library. African Drumming and Stories* (Monday, July 13, 11-11:45) Get ready for some high energy fun with Mayukwa Kashiwa. There will be dancing, drumming, and more. *Registration required. Pajama Story Time on Zoom* (Tuesday, July 14, 7-7:30) Grab your pajamas and join Miss Natalie for some fun with stories, songs, rhymes, and more. For kids ages 2-5. Stuffed animal friends and siblings welcome. *Registration required. Zoom Games* (Fridays, July 17 and 31, 11-11:45) Grab your family and get ready for some fun on Zoom. The first session we’ll play Bingo and during the second we’ll play a variety of silly games. *Registration required for each session. Myths From Olympus* (Monday, July 27, 10:30-11:15) Join the Traveling Lantern Theatre Company for a show with some ancient Greek myths. Participants will have the option to view it with others during the Zoom meeting or watch it during the week on their own. *Registration required. Summer Reading Finale! (Friday, August 7, 6-7) Celebrate your reading accomplishment! Children must have completed the Summer Reading Program by reading at least 600 minutes over the summer and turning in their reading logs to attend. Details will be announced closer to the date.
