received the Best President Award from the District Governor. He was also the Member of Paul Harris Society. May God grant eternal peace to the departed soul and

Celebrations – International Women’s Day

In our regular meeting on March 08, 2019 International Women’s

Day was celebrated. President Rtn Ashok Puri welcomed the guests

Mrs Sudesh and Mr Ved Prakash Moudgil. He also acknowledged

the presence of AG (Zone 3) PP Rtn Ritu Singal.

President Ashok Puri conveyed special appreciation to PP Rtn

Kanan Diwan for her total commitment and dedication towards

completion of GES Peermuchalla in RY 2018-19. He also expressed

thanks to PP Rtn Amarjit Singh along with PDG Shaju Peter for

arranging funds through Global Grant for completion of

Peermuchalla GES project.

IPP Rtn Dr Rita Kalra and First Lady R’ann Sudha Puri were the

coordinators for celebration of International Women’s Day, for

which Dr Rita gave a brief talk, which is celebrated every year on

March 08. A woman plays various roles and that too with love and

full enthusiasm. A woman is a mother, a sister, a wife, a daughter

and the most dedicated employee at her work place. She is generous,

passionate and audacious. She is the one who gives life to a life. She

can give you everything from love to respect to strength, without

expecting anything in return. Therefore, women deserve great

respect and inspiration to showcase their abilities.
