Day 40 Isaiah 61:1: The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me,  because the LORD has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners; Prayer Holy Spirit - rest, rule and abide in me. Anoint me to do a work that shows others who you are through me. Send me, Lord, to those who need your freeing Word or a s im-  ple prayer. I am ready. I am committed. I am yours Lord. Holy Spirit - rest, rule, and abide in my church. Anoint your people. Guide our pastor. Speak to our leaders. Fill all of the members with your love, your power, and your active character. Mark 8:25: Once more Jesus put his hands on the man's

eyes. Then his eyes were opened, his sight was restored, and

he saw everything clearly.

Prayer: Jesus, thank you for restoring my sight so I can see clearly

and serve you fully. Touch me in a special way and bless mewith the ability to discern and follow your will and your 

way. I will live a life of worship so I am always available to

 be touched by you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Ephesians 3:20-21: Now to him who is able to do

immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to

his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the

church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for 

ever and ever! Amen.

Prayer: We glorify you, Father, in this local church. We can’timagine what you have in store for us. That is why we have

 been seeking your vision and your power. We long for your 

 power to work within each and ever person in our families

and in our church. We don’t presume to measure what you

will do. We just remain open and willing to be used. Use us

Lord to glorify you. We present to you a church, a people

fully committed to you.

Glory to your name, Amen.

Reflection:

Day 4Acts 2:17: “ 'In the last days, God says, I will pour out my

Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy,

your young men will see visions, your old men will dream

dreams.

Prayer Father God in the name of Jesus, I want to thank you for the

spirit within and the spirit that you poured upon me. I prayfor the faith to walk in the Spirit and to see the world around

me through Christ-like eyes. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

Reflection

Day 5Daniel 1:17: To these four young men God gave knowledge

and understanding of all kinds of literature and learning. And

Daniel could understand visions and dreams of all kinds.

Prayer Lord, I come to you, because I lack wisdom, knowledge, and

understanding, knowledge to know, wisdom to know how,

understanding to go. I ask these things in Jesus’ name

Amen.

Day 6

Acts 10:3: One day at about three in the afternoon he had a

vision. He distinctly saw an angel of God, who came to himand said, "Cornelius!"

Prayer Father God, I know it’s at anytime you will call me. I pray

that I will be able to hear your call and to receive a vision.
