1. Getting started

> Upon the session being set-up by the moderator, you will see receive an invitation email

which will contain a link to Join the session. The title of email will be the title of the session,

followed by ‘Invitation’.

2. Joining the session

> Upon logging into the session by following this link, you will be placed in the waiting room. If you

are early, you will be given a waiting screen informing you of how long until the session starts.

> From within the waiting room, respondents can talk to the moderator, as well as each other, by

entering text into the text box at the bottom of the screen.

3. Participating in the session > Once in the session room, participants can chat to the moderator through typing into the text box

above the moderator and respondent icons.

> Participants can interact in a number of ways with the moderator by using the tool set to the right

of the screen.

> Participants can also upload images of their own in order to express what they are feeling through

a picture.

> Participants may be asked to take part in a poll – the poll question will appear over the chat box

and once the responses are selected, click the “submit button”.

4. Leaving the session > Once the moderator has the run the session, they will close it and the respondent will be met with

a message informing them that the session has been shut down.

> From the this point respondent can consider the session to be completed and can close their

browser.
