Under the Public Health Act, I issued revised Tasmanian Drinking Water Quality Guidelines which began on 2 November 2015. These guidelines replace previously issued guidelines for drinking water, which have been revoked. The guidelines contain obligations for TasWater, private drinking water suppliers, water carriers, and councils, and provisions relating to water quality auditors.
