“Leaves on the Seine”, David Lanz
Today we brought clothing and food to fifty-two families. Bags of flour, rice, and beans were bundled with hygiene and first aid kits into blankets and given to the families, along with bottles of cooking oil.
The women had a make-up party. Some of us were fortunate enough to have our hands painted with henna, a gesture of friendship.
