Job Title: VP Marketing
Portfolio: Marketing
Term: 1 year
Time Commitment: 40 hrs total during summer months
10-15hrs/week during academic year
Job Summary: The VP Marketing is charge of being the creative genius of MSS.
They must work with a team and coordinate the successful
advertising and promotions of various MSS events, initiatives,
and services. In addition, the VP Marketing must be outgoing
and not afraid to try new and exciting forms of marketing and
public relations.
Responsibilities: Work with team toward in promoting and selling tickets for
events;
Development of all promotional materials for events;
Maintain consistent branding of the organization;
Oversee website operations;
Oversee social media operations;
Book atrium and table space;
Management of the street team operations;
Provide additional assistance to other portfolios as necessary;
Work closely with Executive Team in order to realize the goals
of the organization;
Perform duties assigned by the President;
Ensure that MSS is represented in a professional manner at all
times.
Skills: Outgoing, organized, social, knows Photoshop, active on social
media
Qualifications: Enrolled at the University of Lethbridge as a part-time, full-
time, or co-op student in the Faculty of Management
