Tilted thrusters = Smaller installed power

The Wärtsilä WST-45U tilted thruster overall performance is 16% better compared to the conventional thruster with tilted nozzle.

Less power required for the same DP performance. WST-45U required power 22,5 MW Conventional tilted nozzles required

power 27 MW
