Heidi and Alan are both authors of the popular

Family Travel blog Wagoners Abroad.

Having lived internationally and traveled to over 35

countries and working 20+ years in the corporate

world, they decided to make their own dreams come

true. In August of 2012, they sold most of their

possessions, bought 4 one-way tickets and settled in

Southern Spain. With Spain as their home base,

they are able to explore more of Europe as

well. They have a passion for travel and adventure,

and are a true source of inspiration.

Alan is definitely the Techno Geek in the family. He

likes toying around with software and hardware,

and anything technical. His sense of humor shines

through in his writing. He is fearless when it comes

to trying new things and has a passion for

adventure, trivia, and simple foods.

Heidi is the program manager of the family. With

numerous years of management experience in

customer service with Hotels, Food & Beverage

and IT, she takes the practical approach to

things. She likes to ensure that lasting memories

are created often and on budget. Her passion is to

live life to the fullest every day.
