1 Thessalonians 3:10-13 Wednesday Night

December 18, 2013

  10 night and day praying exceedingly that we may see your face and perfect 

what is lacking in your faith?

 

 11 Now may our God and Father Himself, and our Lord Jesus Christ, direct 

our way to you. 

12 And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another and 

to all, just as we do to you,

13 so that He may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and 

Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints.

lacking in your faith?

Colossians 1:9-149 For this reason we also, since the day

we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the

knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; 10 that you may

have a walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of

God; 11 strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; 12

giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints

in the light. 13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the

kingdom of the Son of His love, 14 in whom we have redemption through His blood, the

forgiveness of sins.

Hebrews 5:12-1412 For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach

you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food. 13 For everyone who

partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. 14 But solid food belongs to those who are of

full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern

both good and evil.

1 Peter 2:1-31 Therefore, laying aside all malice, all

guile, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking, 2 as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby, 3 if indeed you have tasted that

the Lord is gracious.

Proverbs 3:5-85 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean

bones.

Psalm 31:1-31 In You, O LORD, I put my trust; Let me never be ashamed; Deliver me in Your righteousness. 2 Bow down Your ear to me, Deliver me speedily; Be my rock of

refuge, A fortress of defense to save me.

and guide me.  

Psalm 119:133-136133 Direct my steps by Your word, And let no iniquity have dominion over me. 134

Philippians 1:9-119 And this I pray, that your love may

abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment, 10 that you may

approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense

till the day of Christ, 11 being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of

God.

fervent love for one another, for "love will cover a multitude of sins.”

If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let

13 so that He may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and 

Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints. 

Hebrews 12:12-1712 Therefore strengthen the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees, 13 and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be dislocated, but

rather be healed. 14 Pursue peace with all

people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord: 15 looking diligently lest anyone fall short of the grace of God;

lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled; 16 lest there be any fornicator or

profane person like Esau, who for one morsel of food sold his birthright. 17 For

you know that afterward, when he wanted to inherit the blessing, he was

rejected, for he found no place for repentance, though he sought it diligently

with tears.

1 John 3:1-31 Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the

world does not know us, because it did not know Him. 2 Beloved, now we are

children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. 3 And

everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.

1 Corinthians 15:50-5850 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. 51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall

not all sleep, but we shall all be changed--

52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet

will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on

immortality. 54 So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal

has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: "Death is swallowed up in victory." 55 "O

Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?"

Jude 14-1514 Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam,

prophesied about these men also, saying, "Behold, the Lord comes with ten

thousands of His saints, 15 to execute judgment on all, to convict all who are

ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things

which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him."
