Established in 1976, Starbank is best known as the UK’s premier laminate fabricator and specialist-postformed & CNC component manufacturer for the washroom and furniture industries and beyond.

Our products are used in a variety of applications which include the manufacture of healthcare, office and educational furniture components, washroom cubicles, laboratory components, shop fitting, kitchen worktops and fire doors. We fabricate precision panels manufactured from a variety of core materials, which can be faced with high-pressure laminates from any of the main laminate manufacturers.

Starbank have been successfully manufacturing cubicle and washroom components for almost 40 years, offering a one stop shop for quality components from various surfacing materials. Panel performance for every environment

Our material options have been specifically developed to ensure maximum flexibility and performance for all washrooms.

Moisture Resistant Melamine face Chipboard (MR-MFC)

The most cost effective option for dry environments, such as office washrooms where vandalism is not a likely problem. The panels are manufactured from 19mm melamine faced moisture resistant chipboard. All edges are finished with matching or contrasting 2mm ABS edging.

Light / medium use - dry

High Pressure Laminate (HPL)

Ideal for more heavily used washroom areas, these durable panels provide heat, scratch, impact and cigarette burn resistance. Made from either 18mm V313 moisture resistant grade chipboard or V313 moisture resistant MDF, the panels are faced both sides with high pressure laminate creating an overall thickness of 20mm. All edges are finished with a matching or contrasting 2mm ABS edging (Optional postformed edges for doors and pilasters.)

Medium use - dry

Compact Grade Laminate

Compact Grade Laminate offers the ultimate performance for the most demanding environments. The panels are extremely impact resistant and have surfaces and cores that are totally impervious to moisture. The 12mm/13mm core is finished with a slight bullnose profile and polished, eliminating the need for additional edging. Polyrey 10mm compact is available in postforming grade which allows for edges to be postformed.

Starbank has focused its attention on creating a range of cost effective and durable washroom solutions which are as easy as possible to specify. We use commonly specified and high performance material brands and we are able to provide a full sample range including colour cards and brochures within 48 hours of any request.

Easy installation

By combining bespoke components with industry leading laminate fabrication techniques we are able to ensure that every component product of your washroom system is as easy as possible to install on site. Full layout drawings are available on request and we also provide pre-drilled components on all Starbank product ranges to simplify the integration of different washroom elements.

Our Universal range is designed with simplicity in mind. It represents a highly cost effective option which still has visual impact and yet is durable enough for even the most demanding of washroom environments.

The Universal range is one of our most popular due to its flexibility as it is available in three different performance levels MFC, HPL and Compact Grade Laminate. It’s also extremely practical in terms of ease of installation and can be combined with optional bespoke fittings according to specific requirements. Our IPS components create the perfect finish to any washroom.

Our duct panelling options are available in three different performance levels (note that all softwood framework is supplied by third party manufacturers):

• MR MFC with 2mm ABS Edging• 18mm MR Core with HPL finished with 2mm ABS Edging, matching laminate edge or postformed edges to

two edges with the others finished with laminate or 2mm ABS• 12mm Compact Grade Laminate finished with a slight bullnose profile• 10mm Compact Grade Laminate with postformed edge to the two vertical edges

Our duct panelling does more than just conceal pipe-work and services– it completes your washrooms look. Unlike off the shelf systems, our duct panels are tailor-made to site dimensions giving you more design choice when it comes to the overall finish.

IPS Panels can be full height, floor to ceiling or low level and with a choice of shadow band gaps giving you even more influence on the overall finished product. You can also choose from close-butted panels which create a clean finish and make unauthorised access more difficult or alternatively minimal shadow bands giving greater design influence.

Shadow band options allow the finished product to meet the requirements of its environment. These options include 4mm plywood faced with HPL to one side, 18mm MR MDF or Plywood with HPL to one side and 12mm Compact with dual faces.

Choose your vanity system

Vanity Unit Components Our vanities are available in two different performance levels (note that all tops are supplied with sink cut outs as an optional extra). Aquaform 10mm Compact offers a cost effective option where a more durable product is required. This option also allows greater flexibility on sink selection with the ability to have surface mounted counter and semi-recessed sinks or under-mounted sinks for a cleaner overall finish. HPL on an 18mm MR Core gives a greater range of colours, decors and wood grains to complement the overall appearance of your washroom.

In terms of frame panels (note that all softwood framework is supplied by third party manufacturers), in order to optimise your budget we are able to offer three different performance levels when it comes to the front, side and access panels required to complete your vanity unit system. All three options provide CNC’d front panels for integration with the access panels simplifying the installation process.

• MR MFC is our most cost efficient option utilising MR MFC finished with a 2mm ABS edging. • 18mm MR Core with HPL allows for a greater selection of colours to complement your washroom

appearance, finished with either Laminate edging, 2mm ABS edging or with two edges postformed and the other with either laminate or 2mm ABS.

• 12/13mm Compact is our most durable option giving a cost effective option in the most demanding environments.
