Our Resolution for 2019?
NO RATE INCREASE!
Some resolutions are easier to keep than others. This year, we’ve made a resolution that we’re going to keep all year – no increase in the Delivery Charge and Member Service Charge portions of your electric bill. The cost of Co-op Power - the actual energy you use - will continue to fluctuate seasonally because we charge what we actually pay for power, but we were able to hold the line on any increases for 2019 in the rate we charge to deliver power (Delivery Charge) and the monthly fee all members pay to have service available (Member Service Charge). We’re glad to do what we can to keep your costs from rising. For a closer look at your bill and an explanation of charges, please visit www.nhec.com/understanding-your-bill.
Whether you’re looking to save money on appliances, improve the comfort of your home, or explore new technologies like heat pumps and electric vehicles, NHEC has programs and incentives that will help you achieve your energy goals. NHEC seeks broad representation from a diverse group of individuals and encourages all qualified members from all parts of our service territory to consider running for one of the open seats. You must be a Co-op member in order to run for a position on the Board.
