Online, On-Demand, Self-Directed Training and Testing The Academy of Peer Services (APS) is an online, on-demand, self-directed training and tesng website offering a wide range of interacve mulmedia courses for those seeking cerficaon as peer special- ists. Courses on the supervision of peer specialists are also available. APS is a collaboraon between Rutgers University, The New York Associaon of Psychiatric Rehabilitaon Services (NYAPRS), and community partners. It is funded through the New York State Office of Mental Health (NYSOMH). While de- signed for the cerficaon of peer special- ists, anyone with an interest in learning more about peer support is welcome to take courses. Enrollment is free and open to all. We Learn. A Community of Practice for the Peer Support Workforce To bridge the gap between knowledge and pracce, we have organized acvies de- signed to support the development of local, regional, and statewide communies of pracce to allow peer support staff, supervi- sors, managers, program administrators and others who are involved in the delivery of peer services to share knowledge, experi- ence and ongoing support for the peer sup- port workforce. Virtual Learning Community (VLC) The Virtual Learning Community is a project of the Academy of Peer Services that offers livepresentaons on topics of interest to the peer workforce, a job bank, calendar for events and virtual meengs, training oppor- tunies, online discussion and support groups, and more. Training and Testing

The Academy of Peer Services (APS) is an online, on-demand, self-directed training and testing website offering a wide range of interactive multimedia courses for those seeking certification as peer special-ists. Courses on the supervision of peer specialists are also available.

APS is a collaboration between Rutgers University, The New York Association of Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services (NYAPRS), and community partners. It is funded through the New York State Office of Mental Health (NYSOMH).
