Unlike most people think, a Koala is not a bear but is a marsupial (they have a pouch).Baby Koalas are called Joeys.When a Joey is first born it is only about as big as a jelly bean.Koalas only eat Eucalyptus .Koalas are nocturnal.

Meerkat babies have baby sitters.While others look for food at least one meerkat will stand guard for predators.The scientific name for the meerkat is Suricata suricatta.Meerkats are the only members of the mongoose family without a bushy tail.Meerkats have excellent eyesight and can spot an eagle in flight more than a thousand feet (300 meters) away.

We can live in a freshwater river, lake, pond, swamp, bayou, or a marsh.

Alligators are the largest reptile.The American Alligator has between 74 and 80 teeth!There are about 5 million American Alligators in America.Alligators have such strong jaws that they could easily crack a turtle shell.At one point the American Alligator was almost extinct.

I would want to be a cheetah because:
