The International Journal of Automotive Engineering (IJAE) is an English-language journal published by the Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan, Inc. (JSAE) as a forum for outstanding and informative papers in all fields of automotive engineering, technology, and science. The IJAE is published four times a year, and is available free of charge on the website of the J-STAGE.

The aims of the JSAE in publishing this journal are as follows.1. To promote automotive engineering through the worldwide exchange of academic articles between engineers and researchers2. We hope to contribute to the development of automotive engineering by calling for papers widely from both inside and outside Japan and by publishing those of the highest quality as selected by the top engineers and researchers of each field.

RequirementsIn principle, the manuscript shall not have been submitted to another generally published publication. However, the following papers are regarded as un-submitted.1. A paper that has been published in the conference proceedings or a similar publication of a meeting that JSAE sponsors or co-sponsors.2. A paper of which only brief bulletin abstracts have been released to a publication issued by the organization to which the author

belongs.

Method of SubmissionPapers can either be submitted directly to the IJAE through the online system or submitted at the same time as an application to participate in the JSAE Annual Congress or Autumn Congress.

Publication CostAuthors are requested to pay the following publication fee when the paper is accepted.
