Board Program The sellers will take and keep your bull (s) until April 30, 2015 free of charge. Insurance is mandatory for this option. After May 1, 2015, a feed charge of $3.00/day will apply.

Terms & Conditions Terms The terms of the sale are cash or cheque, payable in Canadian Funds at par in Pincher Creek, AB. unless satisfactory arrange-ments have been made previous to the sale. The right of property shall not pass until full settlement is made. All settlement must be made with Southern Alberta Livestock Exchange before any cattle will be released from the Pavilion.

Disputes In case of disputes, bidding will be re-opened between the parties involved. If no further bid is made, the buyer will be the person from whom the auctioneer accepted the last bid. The auctioneer decision will be final.

Purchaser’s risk Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as the auc-tioneer has said sold.

Announcements Errors discovered in the catalogue will be corrected by announce-ments from the auction stand at sale time and such corrections will take precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue. Buyers are cautioned to pay close attention to announcements.

Accidents Although every precaution will be taken to protect the safety and comfort of the buyers and guests, neither the High Country bull sale consignors, Southern Alberta Livestock Exchange, or the Pincher Creek Ag. Society assumes any responsibility in this matter and disclaims any liability, legal or otherwise in the event of acci-dent or loss of property.

Semen Test & Scrotal Measurements All two year olds have a current satisfactory semen test, and all yearlings have current scrotal measurement. Both have been per-formed by a licensed Veterinarian.

Breeder’s Guarantee All animals sold are guaranteed by the owner. Any animal that has not proven itself to be a breeder within six (6) months after the sale date, if in healthy condition may be returned to the seller at the buyers expense. The seller reserves the privilege of trying for six (6) months to prove the animal a breeder. The seller at their opinion, may either return the purchase price to the buyer or re-place the animal with another of equal quality in full settlement of the claims. All yearlings bulls are guaranteed breeders if not used on more than fifteen (15) head of females and are at the full age of fourteen (14) months. The seller is not responsible for damaged caused by foreign bodies after the animal has been sold nor for sickness not apparent at sale time.

Insurance Pincher Creek Agencies will be available to handle all your insur-ance requirements. Insurance is a good way to manage your risk and protect your investment. If any bulls are going back to the sellers, insurance is mandatory.

We would also like to give a special wel-come to the new consignors Blaine and Moira Pickard with some great ranch horse prospects. At HD Ranching we strive to have “great functional bulls”. In order to achieve this we have set ex-treme goals within our cowherd. Cows must be easy fleshing with good udders and feet along with a very strong maternal instinct. As a whole they have held together very well and presented a group of bulls that show many of the same traits. This years bulls are primarily out of Alliance 14W who has showed tremen-dous growth and a great disposition through and through. They will cover ground while maintaining flesh in order to get the job done. They have been fed straight barley silage along with a mineral program from Hi-Pro Feeds. These bulls are meant to breed! bull for their pasture. We selected a few bulls from

all our sire groups so there is a good selection. This

year we combined our bulls with the Char-Lew

Ranch bulls to be fed, as we didn’t have a spare pen.

The two year olds will be semen tested by sale day.

Dustin Sippola of Nanton has been recently riding these three horses. At Dustin’s they are ridden outside. They are exposed to lots and he puts the right kind of foundation and time in the saddle on them. They are not huge horses but big enough to get the job done. They do have lots of go and are ready for a real job. If you do it right, every time you use these young horses they will appreciate in value - you can’t say that about your quad or ATV’s! I couldn’t decide on which horses to bring so two of the lots are buyers choice - you be the judge. You can bid and buy with confidence. Most of you know where we live! We’re not moving.
