Greetings from the LibraryThe New Year has been full of creativity in the library. Our Maker Space is up and running. Students have had the opportunity to create igloos out of marshmallows and toothpicks, as well as, a marble maze out of card stock and tape. We just received a LEGO table!
In all grades, we have completed our Digital Citizen Lessons. These included topics such as Strong Passwords, Talking Safely Online, Protecting Your Private Information, and SPAM.
Walk a ThonWe are so excited to announce our intentions to upgrade the Walk a Thon prizes this year! The top earner from every class will be invited to a pancake breakfast served by Mrs. Karaus! Families may opt to send all their donations with one student, and we will invite siblings as well. The top prize this year will be a certificate for One Week at Camp Spalding! We’ve also received donations from the Spokane Indians, American Girl, Simply Northwest, Oriental Trading, and bottled water from PepsiCo! The Walk a Thon will be held on May 3rd. Please watch for more details on prizes and this year’s goal as we work out the details!

Very Important DatesDining with Adams – Wendy’sPlease join us for a Dining with Adams event on Wednesday, February 20th. Wendy’s will donate 20% of all sales from 5-7pm. This event will be held at the Wendy’s on Sullivan.
Triple Play Family Fun NightThe annual Triple Play Family Fun Night will be held on Friday, February 22nd from 6-9pm. Tickets will be available for $16 and include access to the water park and most other activities. The ropes course will be an add on for $4.95 and you may purchase that directly from the facility. An order form will go home for pre-sale tickets or you may purchase from our table at the door. All pre-sold bracelets will also be distributed at the door.
