11.2.0.2 GRID INFRASTRUCTURE SETUP AS STAND ALONE SERVER
11gR2 Grid Infrastructure was setup on reporting server of IRB Upgrade environment. Since the reporting server is a single node (non-rac), GI was set up as stand alone server.
The activity covered here is upgradation of ASM from 10.2.0.5 to 11.2.0.2.3 by using GI on stand alone server.
Disable 10g CSS deamons:
1) Shutdown the databases 2) Shutdown ASM3) Deconfigure 10g css daemons
root@h22_1_2: /oracle/app/oracle/product/10.2.0.5/bin # ./localconfig delete
Stopping CSSD.
Shutting down CSS daemon.
Shutdown request successfully issued.
Shutdown has begun. The daemons should exit soon.
root@h22_1_2: /oracle/app/oracle/product/10.2.0.5/bin # ps -ef|grep css
root 5764 5651 0 01:28:59 pts/7 0:00 grep css
INSTALL GRID INFRASTRUCTURE WITH SOFTWARE ONLY OPTION
Ignore the above errors as this is not a RAC setup.

Finished running generic part of root script.
Now product-specific root actions will be performed.
To configure Grid Infrastructure for a Stand-Alone Server run the following command as the root user:
/crsapp/app/oracle/product/grid/perl/bin/perl -I/crsapp/app/oracle/product/grid/perl/lib -I/crsapp/app/oracle/product/grid/crs/install /crsapp/app/oracle/product/grid/crs/install/roothas.pl
To configure Grid Infrastructure for a Cluster execute the following command:
/crsapp/app/oracle/product/grid/crs/config/config.sh
This command launches the Grid Infrastructure Configuration Wizard. The wizard also supports silent operation, and the parameters can be passed through the response file that is available in the installation media.
Execute deconfig to remove any previous configurations:
root@h22_1_2: /crsapp/app/oracle/product/grid/crs/install # /crsapp/app/oracle/product/grid/crs/install/roothas.pl -deconfig -force
Using configuration parameter file: /crsapp/app/oracle/product/grid/crs/install/crsconfig_params

Execute roothas.pl script to configure grid and start daemons
