Player Pre-Tournament Packets: Each player will receive a complete packet consisting of score card, bag tags, and pre-purchased items (optional play tags, raffle tickets).

Player Pre-Tournament Packets will be available for pick-up at Saipan Chamber of Commerce office on Thursday, Aug 6 from 8am – 6 pm and at Lao Lao Bay Golf & Resort on Friday, Aug 7 from 3pm – 7 pm. Packets can also be picked up morning of tournament at Lao Lao Bay Golf & Resort from 6am – 7am; however,

due to social distancing measures to avoid long lines, we encourage players to pick up packets on Thursday/Friday.

COVID-19 Preparedness PlanPlayer and Staff Health:

A verbal health screening will be conducted upon your arrival. We will not be doing temperature checks. Masks are required at any time someone is within 6 ft of your person at social areas and while interacting on the green. If you are experiencing any symptoms associated with COVID-19 such as fever, cough, or shortness of breath, we ask

that you remain home. You will not receive a refund, and your fee will be a donation to our scholarship fund. If you have been exposed to a person with confirmed COVID-19 within the last 14 days, we ask that you remain home.

You will not receive a refund, and your fee will be a donation to our scholarship fund. Handshaking and physical touching are discouraged. We recommend air-fives and elbow bumps.

Golf Format Our tournament will be completely outdoors. To remove crowd gathering during registration, we have prepared the Player Pre-Tournament Packet complete with

registration and pre-paid items. Players who have picked up their packets before August 8th will proceed directly to cart-area for check-in. Players who have not picked up their packets will need to check in at lobby, adhering to social distancing requirements. All areas for raffle and optional play purchases, on-course refreshments will be located at cart area or on field. All designated areas should follow COVID-19 Social Distancing Directives.

Carts One cart per player. Exceptions may be made for teams of the same household. Carts will be thoroughly sanitized before and after tournament. Goodie bags, water and sanitizing materials will be made available on each player cart.

Raffles Pre-purchased raffle tickets are available during submission of registration and payment. Raffle will also be sold throughout the tournament as volunteers travel through the course. On-course $1 raffle purchases will be announced via Facebook Live during the tournament every hour on Saipan

Chamber of Commerce’s Facebook page. $5 grand prize raffle will take place after the tournament via Facebook Live. All winners will be posted on Facebook after the event.

Awards There will be no banquet, however, each player will receive a take-out lunch concluding the tournament. We will be streaming Low Gross & Double Peoria Winners and Optional Play Contest Winners after the event.

Waiver of Participation The SCC Golf Tournament is structured to follow EO 2020-04 guidelines as of July 9, 2020 (Vulnerability Level Blue). Player agrees to hold harmless SCC in the case that EO 2020-04 restricts ability to host golf tournament on August 8th pending future changes in vulnerability levels and guidelines.

Player agrees to follow all procedures as instructed by SCC in order to uphold Vulnerability Level Blue guidelines. In the case player does not adhere to procedures, SCC is held harmless and play may be disqualified and asked to leave tournament with no refund.

TWO- PERSON SCRAMBLE Two-person scramble is a competition format that consists of two players. After each shot, the best of the two shots is selected and both players play from the spot. Repeat until the ball is holed.

Registration fee includes: Cart/green fees, swag bag, on-course refreshments, take-out lunch. Your chance to scramble for cash prizes in Low Gross & Double Peoria and in the 5 Optional Play Contest!

o Low Gross & Double Peoria Prizes: 1st Place: $800; 2nd Place $650; 3rd Place $500! o Each Optional Play Content is $150 for a total chance of winning $750!

In our efforts to ease your participation and ensure social distancing guidelines and measures, preparations for each player will be made before tournament day. Please see Player Pre-Tournament Packet details below:

Player Pre-Tournament Packets: Each player will receive a complete packet consisting of all materials needed for game day to include: score card, bag tags, and pre-purchased items (optional play tags, raffle tickets). Each player is encouraged to register before the deadline on August 3rd by 1 pm. For more convenience, players are also able to pre-purchase items while registering, such as Optional Play Contest and raffle ticket items (see registration form).
